Translation: I will impede the progress of a terrorist investigation ... No it won't -- the student is merely refusing to divulge to the media the race of the fellow in the composite drawing that the FBI showed him.
The FBI knows the race.

The sketch is of a man in his 20s or 30s with a round face and glasses, a law student said

The student refused to say what race the man in the sketch appeared to be.Translation: I will impede the progress of a terrorist investigation because I am a f**king politically correct a**hole.
Moron. He told the police. He refused to tell the fricking reporter so that they could keep you up on all the details. Unless you're a cop and you are in the area, you dont need a description. Get a life.

Something tell me he is doing just fine. And I am sure the Govt. is going to fork over some money eventually.
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Richard Jewell, the security guard who was the focus of the investigation into the Olympic bombing before he was cleared by the government, reached a settlement of more than $500,000 from NBC, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
When the settlement was announced on December 9, no amount was revealed and NBC issued a statement saying it agreed to the settlement to protect confidential sources and would have no further comment. Neither an apology nor a retraction was issued.
The Journal said the two sides agreed on a settlement of more than $500,000, quoting people familiar with the deal. It quoted Jewell, 34, as saying he was "very satisfied" with the settlement.

He told the police.I think you misread the story.

You mean "Jayson". I doubt it. I don't think he got his advance yet. Too soon to cause problems for the publicity.
Unless, of course, he's jealous of Annika and Reuben.
Yale Law School? Wouldn't Columbia's School of Journalism be a more apropos and closer target? Besides, Jayson was not
exactly known for actually leaving NYC to report on a story, let alone creating one.
(Not that New Haven is all that far away.)

One thing you know, they are not white, or oriental. Its either somone hispanic, black or arab. If they had a turban on, I can guarantee you, it would have been out already.

No, I think you injected your own bias into the story. The student refused to tell the reporter. If he had refused to tell the police or the FBI the race, the article would have said that.
You want to be pissed that someone wouldnt report race and I can guarantee you that the FBI wouldnt let that student go with I know but Im not goign to tell you. He would become a material witness in protective custody until he could remember what race it was.
