The Dems may try to make political hay over the next attact, and when they do it will be a disaster for the them that will make the Wellstone funeral parade look like a minor gaffe.
The public is *expecting* more attacks. It will not be a surprise to anyone. I think most people have pretty realistic expectations, and nobody expects security to somehow be perfect.

I think you're the one who misread the story. I read it the same way as Dave S. Then you're both wrong. Read:
FBI agents... were showing students a sketch of a man they want to identify. The sketch is of a man..., a law student said Thursday... The student refused to say what race the man in the sketch appeared to be. The FBI is trying to identify the man... said the student, who did not recognize the man.
The student NEVER SAW the guy. The student DID NOT provide any description of a person to the FBI... He is NOT a material witness. He simply described for a reporter the sketch that the FBI is showing around campus.
By the way, Dave S, in post #36 you are awfully presumptuous about my thoughts and intentions, evidently based on one pretty neutral (and factually accurate) 6-word statement by me on this entire thread.

but someone did see this person, "walking quickly" as I heard it from that building? i wonder if they have any webcams or security cameras setup around that campus, you would think they would?

You got me. I mistook your six words to be that the student was refusing to tell the police. I missed the part about the police were showing the sketch. Sorry. I was clearly wrong.

But there would be no reason to hide that.Yes there would. It's called political correctness.

Is there enough bath water on the planet to clean this guy?

REFUSED? WTF? He's probably just a PCC (politically correct clymer) but it's possible the Feebs told him to sit on certain details.
Then again, maybe he just didn't like the way the reporter asked. I won't read too much into this until this guy has been found and interviewed.

[FBI agents investigating the explosion of what they believe was a pipe bomb at Yale University's law school were showing students a sketch of a man they want to identify.]
Chief Moose immediately issued a BOLO for a white wan occupied by two white Christian evagnelicals, who were seen reading the Federalist Papers and the Bible.

Unless you're a cop and you are in the area, you dont need a description. Get a life.Uh-huh.
Only police should know what a suspect looks like - except that they're always putting out those sketches anyway.
But you're right, when madmen are running around killing innocent people, the average citizen should be kept in the dark about what the madman looks like. Good idea.
