No, he did not say that. That's what the AP published. They inserted the "(gay)" which Sen. Santorum never said.
However, why should anyone mind connecting gay sex with bigamy, polygamy, incest, or adultery? They are on par - either they are all immoral or none are.
Shalom.
Even if you have to become a liberal?
Sort of "The end justifies the means."
Shalom.
Because associating homosexuality with such behaviors undermines their agenda.
They are on par - either they are all immoral or none are
Exactly, once you leave the realm of the traditional man/woman relationship that was created for the sole purpose of procreation, not for fun as pleasurable as it may be, moral relativity makes all consensual sexual behaviors equal and no better than one or the other.
What is astounding to me is that 58% find homosexuality morally wrong and only 27% acceptable. Havent we been told that that opinion is in the minority and behind the times? I dont think Gallup, Zogby et al asks this question because they dont want to be seen as politically incorrect or they know what the result would be and like the NYT not want that opinion made known. Pennsylvania sample noted but the rest of the country cant be that far off since its a blue state.
More importantly, I know of know religion that sees adultery, bigamy, polygamy, and incest as immoral that doesn't also see homoerotic behavior as immoral. If you reject Christian morality, try Jewish - nope. Try Islamic - nope. Try - well you get the picture.
Shalom.
Agreed but I still cant get over why the media hasnt latched onto this monumental discovery that more than half the population believes homosexuality is immoral. That should be big news on CBS, NBC, ABC
because theyve reported the opposite in many different ways, Rosie interview, shapes and forms for the last decade. Its pure hypocrisy!
Only if you don't believe in G-d.
You have to hear from G-d, of course, to know when to engage the battle. But G-d does call His leaders to engage. He even calles them to fail. Read Jerimiah.
Shalom.
Oh, well that's obvious. Two reasons: 1) the media has known that all along, feels it's wrong, and is trying to correct the backwards, uneducated American public that homosexuality really is not immoral. They aren't so much reporting as advocating. 2) they can get their newsrooms trashed and big advertising $$ pulled if they tell the truth.
Shalom.
Poll: Pennsylvanians behind Santorum in gay issue
Somehow I think that this headline was someone's idea of a joke.
