Maybe we should sell DVDs of the Klinton Koffee Klatches to Liberals who miss "The Good Times".

I love and admire George and Laura Bush. The more I learn, the better I feel.

The Dems will b**** about anything Bush does.
Pretty soon we will learn that the Dems dont like Bush's choice of toilet paper (its not an "earth-friendly" brand..)

Libs are never happy.
If GWB hosted a bunch of parties, the Libs and the presstitutes would complain that he parties too much...ect.
As stated earlier, if the Libs are unhappy -- he must be doing something right.

"Since there's no social life at the White House, and no social life in the city, Washington as we know it is over," moaned Quinn, liberal wife of former Washington Post Executive Editor Ben Bradlee. "Washington's social scene has come to a screeching halt." What whiners! Are they incapable of having parties on their own and inviting the 'smart social set'. I guess these folks don't have 'friends', only 'contacts'.

Awwwwww. The old killjoy. What does he think he's there for, anyway? Taking the running of the country seriously or something? War shmar. Let's have a party!

To the utter dismay of the Georgetown set, the Times says foreign leaders covet invitations to the down-home atmosphere of the 1,600-acre ranch in West Texas, preferring it to stuffy White House social affairs. Nothing to add, just thought that this line bears repeating...

Remember the headlines said the same thing about the Republicans and the Clintons back when the Big Creep took office. It seems to be a rite of passage.

Hey Katt, you forgot the "schadenfreude" alert! LOL.
What I take from this -- aside from the fact that GW and Barbara are real people who have no interest in socializing with the phony leftist vermin who infest DC -- is that GW has a JOB to do and wants to GET IT DONE. This contrasts starkly with Clinton's non-stop partying, fundraising, campaigning, corrruption, murdering, and theft. World leaders prefer to hang out with the GW and Barbara in Crawford than DC...good stuff!

I assume you mean Laura Bush (or has his mother been non-socializing, as well?) ;)

Besides ... it'a all Hitlery's fault ... she planned on being the "hostess with the mostess" - trying to upstage Quinn ... looks like it didn't quite work out that way. No one wants to be seen socializing with Hitlery.
