Bet a guest won't stumble on an orgy in a rest room, either.

And who paid for all those "lavish" dinners. Why do you think Hollywood hated to see Clinton go? Did you ever see a list of the attendees of those "State" Dinners. Why does Brad Pitt or Elton John get to go to these dinners. PAYBACK...PAYBACK..PAYBACK...I'm so glad it's over.

A happily married man like George Bush can only take so many black tie affairs. On the other hand, the Draft-Dodging Rapist couldn't get enough partying in the White House (at taxpayer expense,) because parties were a great way for Bubba to be serviced with BJ's, etc. from groupies.

One can only imagine the promiscuous sex, anonymous sex and coke-sniffing that really went on at Clintonista White House parties........

Or "dignified" guests bouncing around on the bed in the Lincoln bedroom, in OUR house.

It's no wonder the Libs miss the bad old days.

Oh, those poor deprived...or is it depraved, elitists. It's so boring to have an adult in the WH who acutally gets to bed (with his own wife) at a reasonable time.

No need to open the store when one has nothing for sale. I have a feeling, however, that Mr. Rove may wish to pen in a few parties next year...

I'd like to know their definition of social. Lest we want the road to fascism, government is not there to administer social programs but to stand as a mediator between administrators, end of story.

Ah, but Ronnie and Nancy took back the proper tone of the White House that Jimmuh had tarnished with his cardigan sweaters and endless musings in the Rose Garden. There is a fine balance between "party hearty" and proper elegance. Guess it took the Reagans to understand the difference.

Let's not mention all the tax dollars being saved by not being a party animal. I'll bet the president has saved enough to land a jet on a navy carrier.

I know that this lack of parties is a reasonably trivial issue, but if it makes the liberals mad, thats good enough for me!

W didn't sell the Lincoln Bedroom to the highest bidder either. Besides, the power brokers in D.C. are RATS. Why should W have to entertain RATS, who are so far removed from the average John or Jane Doe on the street that they have no idea what the rest of the country wants? W's idea of entertaining is my idea. I like the man.
