"Also yesterday, ABC's "Good Morning America" reported that it had obtained a copy of Laci Peterson's sealed autopsy report, which showed her ribs were broken, her maternity bra was torn or cut and a long strip of duct tape was found between what's left of her legs.

Laci Peterson's remains were found badly decomposed and her head, arms and parts of her legs were missing. But her torso has yielded some tantalizing clues of who killed her and her unborn son - and when."

"Donnie" is rumored to be evading capture, but Scott has retained the services of legendary manhunter O.J. Simpson, who is now doggedly searching golf courses across America.

Scott Peterson's mother, Jackie Peterson, told the Bee, "I have a lot of empathy for Sharon but she does not have a right to go in our house and take what she wants."

OK, so whose house is it? Laci and Scott's or Jackie Peterson? Just weird she refers to it as our house. Or did I miss something? I have to admit I am not keeping up on this situation.

Defense Team Seeking Man Named 'Donnie' as Laci Peterson Murder Suspect

The only clue they have so far is that "he's a little bit rock and roll".

I've always adored the invocation of the vague "Some Other Dude Did It" (SODDI) defense, with the articles fed by desperate lawyers.

And CD, knowing your adoration for this case, I just had to ping you.

From 'Why did he?' to 'Did he?' in 28 days

By Harriet Ryan

Court TV

A few days after he took Scott Peterson's case, defense lawyer Mark Geragos stood on the steps of the Stanislaus County courthouse surrounded by his new client's family and predicted public opinion of the murder suspect was about to change.

"I think it's only a matter of time before we're able to turn America's head around," Geragos told scores of reporters eager to gobble up any speck of information about Peterson and the killing of his pregnant wife, Laci, and unborn son.

At the time, Geragos' forecast seemed about as likely as June snow in Modesto. In the hot, dry California city and across the nation, Peterson was Public Enemy #1. When he was arrested, a throng of angry citizens greeted his arrival at the county jail with bloodthirsty chants and signs reading MURDERER. The front page of the New York Post showed Peterson in shackles beneath the headline "MONSTER IN CHAINS." And the California attorney general pronounced the case against Peterson "a slam dunk."

But in the 28 days since Geragos became Peterson's attorney, an improbable, but unmistakable shift in the public discussion of the crime has occurred. The question is no longer "How could he do it?" but "Did he do it?"

The change seems clearly the result of a series of press leaks — some directly credited to the defense side and others to unspecified sources — including speculation that Laci Peterson died at the hands of a Satanic cult and Thursday's revelation by MSNBC that the coroner found a plastic tape "noose" around the neck of the Petersons' unborn son, Conner, when his body was found on the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay.

Excerpted

Morning rb.

Geragos earning his money again? Donnie the druggie?..this is so pathetic.

It has become transparent that the Petersons have finally exposed themselves WRT their hostility toward the Rochas. I've been doing ALOT of reading on the subject. Tons of infor available on the internet. Just a sample:

"Passive-Aggressive Behavior"

"Psychologists define passive aggressive behavior as a deliberate and indirect way of expressing personal anger. It's other-directed and often involves manipulative schemes that aim at "getting even" or punishing someone."

Scott will be searching every golf course he can to find the real killer, Donnie.

Thought I would pass this thoughts for the Monday to ya all:

Hi! It's me! Thought you might enjoy this! Love YA!

What I have learned as I gotten older.

What I have learned as I mature...

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just assholes.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better have a big weenie or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think.

I've learned that you can keep puking long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place.

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

Pass this along to friends...trust me, they'll appreciate it. Who knows, maybe something good will happen.

If not...tough shit

Author, unknown...email thingy...;;)

The defense has revealed that it is searching for a man named "Donnie," with no known address and a possible tie to illegal drugs, including methamphetamines, Fox News has learned.

I guess the satanic cult trial balloon burst, so it's on to the next one. Equally pathetic.

I think the Rochas allowed their anger to get the best of them and there may be undesirable consequences for their breaking into the house. That house is potentially a crime scene and whatever they did to disturb its contents could be later construed as tampering with, planting or destroying evidence.

Morning :)

Isn't it nice that Good Morning America gets a copy of a court sealed autopsy report and blabs it all over the country? Will anyone be held accountable for this? The media is everyone's worst nightmare...

Has anyone heard who the "Jewelers" are or where this store is located? Modesto, Fresno? My gut feeling is that the "jewelry store" is really a Pawn shop.

MG is really trying to link the robbery across the street from Laci's house to the murder. One of the guys in the robbery is Donald. I am assuming that the motive will be "Well..what the he**..we just robbed some people, so lets go kill the pregnant next door neighbor to cover up the burglury.."

June 2, 2003 -- Almost half of Americans believe life begins at the moment of conception, a new poll says. Forty-six percent say a fetus should be considered a person as soon as conception occurs.

What a terrific poll to include in your postings. I find it hugely significant that this stat refers to "the moment of conception".
