[history]
Muscle-bound men dressed head-to-toe in leather. Drag queens at their most fabulous in false eyelashes, glittery dresses and platform heels. Glamour boys flashing well-toned physiques.
They were all in their glory at the 12th Annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade in Asbury Park yesterday.

There was a time when Asbury Park was famous for it's family values and family entertainment--NOT any more. It looks like they are so hard up for money, they would sponsor any event and just did at that. They talk about being normal and paying taxes like everyone else but are forgetting their lifestyle is an abomination and the taxes they pay don't help since they are the cause of AIDS which is bankrupting our hospitals and state coiffeurs and causing our health insurance premium to increase.
Asbury Park then:

Maybe they should change the name of the town to Asbury Pork.

Maybe that's because:

Ms. McDermot is trying to put a shine on a sneaker. Contrary to her best efforts to explain it away, this parade couldn't draw flies. Despite all the bells and whistles ballyhooed in this PR piece, the parade itself was just a bit smaller than the crowd gathered to view it.

Why would the rain affect a gathering of men in public bathrooms?

Daly said they are celebrating their 20th anniversary together, something many straight couples never achieve, but they cannot enjoy the tax write-offs and other benefits married couples enjoy. Real married couples have benefits to protect the family unit. The only thing pretending an anus is vagina will procreate are dirt babies.
BTW 80% of first time marriages last until one partner dies, well beyond 20 years if you want to compare apples to bullsh!t.

In 30 years, Asbury Park has gone from family resort, to dangerous slum and now the Key West of New Jersey!

Gay Pride. How can you be proud of something and yet claim you have no control over it?

Personally, I don't spend a lot of time thinking about homosexuality. And I'm enough of a reasonable person to accept the argument that what one does in the privacy of one's bedroom is nobody else's business. I guess I just got too many other things on my mind to be too concerned about something that doesn't really affect me.
But when they go out of their way to portray them selves like they do in these "Gay Pride" parades, I think it's ok to call a bunch of freaks for what they are. Keep it in the privacy of your own bedrooms, folks, then the rest of us won't have to be creeped out by you and your behavior. Don't make it my business, and *I* won't make it my business.

The community was named after Francis Asbury, an evangelical Methodist leader. Several other shore communities in that part of New Jersey began as Methodist church related retreats. I can't help but thinking that homosexual activists have a perverse sense of pride in flaunting their lifestyle in former family resorts with a religious or conservative past like Asbury Park. I can imagine the staunchly conservative Walt Disney spinning in his grave over the tens of thousands of homosexuals that invade Disney World once a year.
The Long March of the cultural Left through traditional American institutions continues.

"Gay Pride. How can you be proud of something and yet claim you have no control over it?"
Like people who say they're proud to be black? Or proud to be white? Or (insert country of ancestry here)?
Gay Pride parades are simple to explain. People who feel that they have been or are "oppressed" (aka: victim mentality) enjoy getting together as a group and proclaiming pride. Gay Pride started as a way to fight back. Now it's basically just a dance party and a chance to hang out with your friends and get drunk while supporting "the community".
No real mystery about it. Everyone loves a party.

I guess AIDS does not stop gay parades either, nor fantasy marriages that would only forbid a gay person from switching to a heterosexual marriage, and thus destroy this creative person's ability to found an evidenciary family.
No, the gay parade will smash reality and hate the rain good for the crops.

Yea, they don't tell you about the increased incidences of AIDS, STD's, Infections, Assaults, Homicides, morbidity and mortality and what long-term effects their lifestyle has on their adopted children.
