In your list of Dem/lib/antiwar talking points, you forgot the latest hot one - John Dean's (and others') statement that Bush should be impeached for lying (worse lying than Clinton's). Seems that some people who previously thought Dean was dirt now think he's the wisest sage who ever put two words together in a sentence.

The great thing is that Dubya whips them every time. Still, his opponents are determined to prove him wrong. The mistake they always make is underestimating him.
They never get it, because to do so would be to acknowledge that President Bush is not an incompetent fool, and they're simply unwilling to accept that.

That ties in with the NO WMD BS. Dean is just the latest liar to jump on that quagmire of BS floated by the left wing media.

One of the greatest assets in any personal battle is having your opponents underestimate you.
The more they try to lie about you, the more they believe their own lies. This creates more of a winning opportunity for the one being branded as a loser.

It seems strange to me that they would want to break out these great treasures and reopen right now. From what I see on TV the citizens seem pretty consumed with trying to live. Maybe I have the wrong idea, but I can't see Iraqi citizens going to a museum at this point. Or any tourists. This opening is meant for another audience.
Among the treasures shown will be a 6th Century BC Greek vase brought to Mesopotamia by Alexander the Great.
It depicts a prophesy of a future event given by the Oracle of Delphi: The spear of Truth being poked into the eye of the New York Times and the European press.

Oh, yes, I was, and I was surprised at how many Freepers bought into this. Even if the original figure--170,000 lost items--had been true, I still maintain that there wasn't one single artifact that would have been worth the death of any of our troops!
I totally agree. Funny, how the foul weather FReepers aren't showing up. You would think they would rejoice at such good news, especially, now that the museum is going to reopen. But, they would have to eat crow I suspect and probably couldn't handle that.

It shouldn't be a bigger problem to live in Iraq right now. The water, electric and the other services are returning. We also didn't touch the civilian population.
If you're seeing bombed out areas, just remember those pictures and articles are from the leftist media.
By the way, it's important that the museum and Iraq's treasures are displayed. Any other army in the world would have stole them for themselves. We did not come as conquorers.

Good points to consider. I think that's what Polybius was saying.
To: MizSterious
I think this is great.
Notice there were no apologies from any of the so-called journalists who have been histerically reporting the 170,000 looted objects, all the history of mankind being lost and so on, for NOT doing their research, before reporting, because if they had done it, they would have found, as many of us did, that the looting couldn't have happened that way, because there were set procedures to put artefacts into vaults.
After Iraq settles down, it could also be a great tourist destination, to visit all the historic sites and treasures.

They are the incredible losers of life who wait each day for the latest lies from the lefty media. Then, they post them and cry "The Sky is falling due to evil republicans and of course GW!"And then to top it all off, they spam this place with posts claiming that they're the "true conservatives", while the rest of us are just a bunch of ignorant leftist "sheeples" in love with government jackboots pressing down on our necks.

Got it. Thanks for the ping.
