Our Cruise Ship the "Triumph"

First stop, Cozumel Mexico!

Great Beaches!

Seclusion...

...and FUN!

Next, off to Grand Cayman!

...and STINGRAY CITY!

Diotima, Darly and Seeking the Truth!

DON'T GET OUT OF THE BOAT!

Careful...they BITE!

"You grab them like this, then toss them on the bar-b-que before they can bar-b-you!"

"Honey, if we throw them one of the kids, maybe they'll leave us alone."

Darn, those Cayman beaches are ugly...

FReepers enjoying the sand and sun!

On to Jamaica!

Morning in Ocho Rios

Very old Spanish built bridge

Tubing anyone?

"Dear, the waters a little colder than at the beach..."

Even the rivers are aquamarine

You just can't beat Jamaica for their 5 star facilities...

I'm okay with jerk chicken, but skank jerk chicken?

Plenty of places to steal away in the Jamaican Jungle

Back in Ocho Rios, we found this absolutely stunning restaurant at the base of a waterfall called "The Ruins". Here are some shots...

Someone say "dinner"?

Shots from around the ship

BobfromNJ and the dreaded Clinton "VOODOO DOLL"

Well, he WAS our first black prez...

That's all for now folks! Plenty more pics but we won't bore you too much! Hope you can make it with us next time and until then...

Take it easy, mon!"

I don't understand how some people sit at their desks, hating to be there while and wishing to be somewhere exotic, while others go to exotic places and think of nothing except their work. To me they are two sides of the same coin, neither go far without the other.

I love to work hard and make money but also love to sit on a beach with a mai-tai in my hand. One cannot really appreciate the other without both.

I am checking the "last minute" half price cruise list...anyone game?

Very very nice, Bob.
Wish I could have come but work was just to hectic.
Maybe next time.

Yes, a mai-tai is just a drink, but, a pretty girl is a smoke.

Looks like a wonderful cruise! I'm sorry I missed it, just too many conflicts this year. I hope you all had a wonderful time (like I can't tell you did from those pics!) I'm glad The Shrew survived. We were a bit worried about him when he left Texas. smile. StT, I saw where your other half registered the other day, but I've already forgotten her new screenname. Why did you let her do it? She's been so safe and unaddicted up to this point. LOL! Tell her I miss her. IT, it's great to see those sweet and extremely smart kids of yours.

Alaska huh? Be sure to ping me when you get ready to do it.

Wife and I really wanted to make this trip - but finances were just not there. Alaska sounds wonderful - except that ratchets up the cost significantly.... Will have to wait and see. Hard to beat $610 (and then $510) for the week long cruise!

Well said, sir. It could be argued that one would not even be possible without the other. And you know I looooove to argue ...

I'm sure we will find a way to make that trip affordable...we always do.

Alaska is the front runner for next year, but, things change. Some of us are talking about a fall cruise somewhere nice, just a small group.

Not to mention that the locale kinda kills the "beach party" aspect of it ;)

(I still want to go to Antarctica before I shuffle off ... maybe I could ask the Captain to make a wee little side trip ...)

That should have read "...one without the other" but, such is life.

I've found that being near the Grand Glacier has a tendancy to free up the jacuzzi.

Opportunities are where you find them...

Don't worry about it. I was whining to one of the cats this morning that there was no mint on my pillow, and accused her of sluffing her responsibilities. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to me, and I'm not quite fully returned from my adventure.

Hmmm ... it would be interesting to see how many will fit into a Jacuzzi while wearing mukluks and down parkas. The idea certainly reinforces the concept of imbibing strong drink as a restorative instead of just a pretty perch for a paper umbrella.

Members clue...

The rear jacuzzi benefits from the engine heat. While one needs a parka to go forward, one can walk out to the aft hot tub in a bathing suit.

Weird but true...
