The same poll found Americans are still divided about her, with 44 percent expressing a favorable opinion 44 percent of Americans think that North Korea is a paradise.

"I predict a quick burst of 'excitement' followed by a droning boredom" I agree. After they've paid everyone to buy the book. It will end at Barnes and Noble alright. $4.49

I've written two books, one published by a major New York publisher and one I published myself and got it picked up by a major distributor, so I know a little bit about this subject. There is a big difference between shipping a million copies of a book and selling a million copies. I've been saying since the day this deal was announced that Hillary's huge advance (and Bill's, too, for that matter) was a payoff to Democrats to grease the wheels of legislation favorable to the big media companies that own the publishers and had nothing to do with anticipated sales. I've also been saying that if you actually want a copy of what would undoubtedly be a load of self-serving lies, just wait a couple of months and you'd be able to pick it up in any remainder bin for $2.99, which is 299 cents more than it's worth, unless you rip out the pages and use them as fireplace starters. I stand by that prediction.

I live in PA...also saw the local news showing segments of the booksigning in Manhattan at Barnes and Noble bookstore, then they showed the local bookstores here along with interviews/comments from the customers...One lady said she was buying it for her aunt, then they asked if she's buying a copy for herself, her response was no, that her aunt can tell her about it. Another gentleman said how much he liked her, has been following the great job she's been doing, another lady said she's buying two, one was a gift, and mainly buying it due to Hillary's family having in the area..
They interviewed the manager of the bookstore who said they'd been receiving calls all day, but had to tell the customers they were sold out, taking names and phone numbers of people so they can put their copies on hold til they pick them up tomorrow because they were anticipating another large turnout since their phones have been ringing off the wall...The manager also said that some people were purchasing 2-4 books at a time, and those were to be given as gifts, which they offer gift wrapping services.
However, I didn't call any of the other bookstores in the area because I was mainly interested in the bigger stores to see what kind of response they were getting due to the your comment..Wonder how long this frenzy will continue?
