FReepers, it is with mixed emotions that I announce the passing of our precious whoever. After a valiant year-long battle with cancer, she succumbed to the disease late yesterday afternoon. That's the bad news. The good news is that she immediately entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

FR's Finest thread will celebrate her life with a tribute to her on Monday, June 16. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories of who. She was greatly loved and admired and will be sorely missed.

We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Cor. 5:8

This is bittersweet news. I'm so sorry for our wonderful Who's family and her FReeper friends, yet I take heart in the knowledge that she is at peace with the Lord.
