A military aircraft doesnt need:

1. Airspace above it
2. Runway behind it
3. Fuel left on the truck after takeoff.

Yep, however they were very "aloft" challenged.

They did although fly a Mig 25 into Saudi Arabia airspace just before the liberation started. The Mig 25 "Foxbat" is a mach 3 Russian fighter...mach 3 for about 30 seconds until the fuel is depleted anyway!
