PRAYER REQUEST-URGENT!

Urgent: Prayers needed.

My wife, Lisa, is 10 weeks pregnant. We tried for 2 years and finally succeeded. Now we are facing a possible miscarraige. She started bleeding last night and is experiencing pain in her back and side. We called the doctor and she said that it might be a miscarriage, and if it is, there is nothing that they can do. We go for an ultrasound in a couple hours (earliest time we could get); with the ultrasound, they can determine if it is a miscarraige or not.

Please pray for Lisa and our child. While your at it, I could use a few prayers myself...I just learned on Friday that I will be losing my job effective July 11. With everything that is happening, I'm not sure I can be strong enough to be there for Lisa. I've been praying for stregnth, as well as for the baby, but could use some help. I'm not worried about the job, as you can always find work if you want it. Right now, my main concern is Lisa and our baby.

Dude I'm with you. Unfortunately my wife and I experienced the same situation as she miscarried at seven weeks.

Take heed and put yourself in God's hands....we now have an incredibly beautiful 4 month old baby girl.

I will be praying for you as well- We have been blessed to never go through this, but we have had a couple of scary situations that have turned out ok. Place yourself and your wife and baby in God's hands and trust him. Never forget that it is all part of his plan.

I know it seems hard when you keep getting multiple roadblocks put in your path (we have been going through hard times of our own lately), and I am not the best at giving comfort sometimes, but I always remember that we are never given anything that God thinks we cannot handle. I am sorry if it sounds feeble, but I do believe it is true.

I also pray that you are able to find work and that you are given strength to be there for your wife. Too many times we forget that dads are part of the pregnancy--my husband was always there for me during both of my pregnancies even when he was facing stress elsewhere.
