Prayer Request!! (for my Mom)

Prayers are needed for my mom, Marilynn.

She is going in tomorrow morning (Wednesday, June 18) for bypass surgery. Because of the severity of the blockage, the doctors told her she will need at least 5-6 bypasses.

My Mom means everything to me, and I'm pretty worried about this. Please say a prayer for a very safe and successful surgery, and for a fast and complete recovery.

UPDATE PING!!!!

I just got the news that my mom is now out of surgery.

The surgeons performed a quintuple bypass, and everything went as well as could be expected. Things look very good, and the doctors believe she will make a full and complete recovery!

She will be in ICU for at least the next 24 hours, then will get moved to the Intermediate ICU for at least 48 hours after that.

I can not even say Thank You enough - number one to the Lord Almighty for his blessings in guiding the surgeons, the anesthesiologist, and all others who were involved in the OR; and for protecting my mother during this operation.

I also truly would like to thank each and every one of you who offered up prayers and words of kindness. They really provided comfort and peace to both me and my mother as she faced this operation.

I pray our Heavenly Father will continue to place His healing hands on her for a complete and full recovery. Thank you all again. The power of prayer is very real!!
