I hope good conservatives can realize that Dean is the candidate, not his son, and leave this alone.

The story so far:

George Bush:
The Bush Twins- underage drinking cited multiple times while father was president.

Jeb Bush:
Son (not George P.) caught by a security guard at a mall having sex in a car with some girl; daughter arrested for *serious* drug problems.

Al Gore:
Son arrested by police for speeding, embarrassing his father who was running for president at the time.

Bill Frist:
Teenage son recently arrested for drunken driving.

Howard Dean:
Teenage son arrested for his part in robbing a country club for alcohol, embarrassing his father while running for president.


Teenagers are scary people, with minds and hormones of their own. But kids can make mistakes like those above, and still turn out just fine, although Jeb Bush’s daughter really seems to be in a difficult situation.
