Hah?? Now why would you even say something like that? To even try to compare the two? Bill Clintons legacy is Whitewater, Monica, FBI "gate", Waco, Asprin factories, Saddam, Saddam, OBL, Saddam, China "gate", imprisonment of numerous business colleages, his wife...."I don't recall, until I write a book Hillary", Fidel AND Alian Gonzales, draining our defense's oil reserve AND our defense budget, I can't even count the # of pardons to his criminal crones, lying to the public on network TV, Lying to the Grand Jury, Laughing at funerals, promoting issues in campaigns that were totally reversed by the Schlickmiester, The number of people around him that somehow seem to wind up dead, shutting down air traffic at LAX to get a hair cut, cigars, The Oval Office and it's bathroom, giving the pschycopathic "kid" in North Korea his way, Loral, and his giving GPS secrets to the communist Chinese government, increasing taxes and giving false AND illegal directives to the market to maintain, a high level of return as ficticous as it was, leaving Dubya' with the Enron like debacles by his giving CEO's the impression that being a crook is okay, since the POTUS is being one it must be alright, and of course lifting Yasser Arafat to a level that he couldn't even dream of being at. And you are comparing Dubya' to Clinton? Do you feel that Dubya' need's checks?? Give me your Dubya' list as to why HE needs checks!
Great post Cherry. They are the ultimate goal and we have never been closer politically as conservatives as we have been since Dubya' has handled the reins. Patiences is soooo important and considering what has been accopmlished already since Dubya' has been elected I can't help but be impressed! For after the decades of "liberalism" that we have had put upon us, just the idea that the wave of liberalism is cresting is impressive! And of course by seeing the liberals scrambling as they are is a good sign that the pace of change is a good pace!
We have definitely seen a drastice improvement and I see even more improvement with time!
If your alternative should happen to get elected, I wish you and your family well. No matter who gets elected things won't be too bad, thank God, so far the individual, has the right to vote for what or whom they feel the best to reperesent our great country. As long as we have that kind of freedom we are doing pretty well. Considering what has been accomplished so far with "The Bush Administration" I have to admit that I am a little perplexed with posts that are showing frustration with his agenda.
See post 45, whether kneejerk reactions, or not, I don't care so don't bother.
Protagoras, who are "your boys" or boy? The only boys that are mine are teenagers and a husband.
As for me, I support anyone who advances the cause of liberty and the advancement of civil society and the shrinking of the government back to it's constitutional respnsibilities. I eschew anyone who does not.
As to your many years on this forum, if no one reads your stuff, what does it matter how long you have been posting?
Rush said that the Republicans are using the new prescription drug benefit for Senior Citizens ...who happen to be the wealthiest of our nation...as a way to take votes from the Dems.
