The Great "Gay" Con

The Great “Gay” Con

Exclusive commentary by Patrick Rooney

Jun 23, 2003

Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien said last week his country would officially recognize same-sex marriages. The announcement followed court rulings in Canada striking down the country’s definition of marriage because it specified a union between a man and a woman. But it is just the latest action signaling the successful implementation of one of the greatest cons of our time.

Homosexuality has historically been seen as anti-God and anti-nature. Society has shunned it, often making light of it to mask its revulsion. Even today, the average person still cringes when they see two men mouth-kissing one another. The truth is, the practice is innately abhorrent, and yet a great many of us have been made to believe gay is good, or at least one more acceptable choice from life’s grand smorgasbord.

It started with an assault on our perception of reality. The sixties exploration of “freedom” began the path down that slippery slope. Rebellion against the order of things. And what greater rebellion than for a man or woman do go against their very own nature?

Language being important, the word “homosexual” was overthrown, and replaced with the happy word “gay.”

Liberal ideas spilled into every facet of life, including the clergy. “Do not judge, lest ye be judged” seemed to be the only verse in the entire Bible that liberals knew. Never mind they had no clue as to the real meaning of the verse, and that taken to its logical conclusion, “do not judge” would lead to total anarchy. Of course they didn’t really mean, “do not judge”, they only meant for others not to dare attempt to see and comment on their corrupt behavior.

So homosexuals not only came out of the closet, they attempted to stuff those of us who saw their deviancy into closets. But the greatest victory homosexuals have ever had was AIDS. That’s right, AIDS. “How can you say that?” “Millions have died, particularly gays!” Yes, that is truly a tragedy.

But from virtually day one of the AIDS pandemic, homosexuals have furiously spun themselves and others away from the reality that they were the primary group spreading the disease. “It’s not a gay disease!” they’d protest.

Homosexual activists struggled desperately against any public health measures designed to curb the spread of the disease, as had been done in previous epidemics, and is being done now with the SARS disease. Instead, without evidence, they’d relentlessly “educate” us on every way we couldn’t contract it.

Despite the fact that homosexuals were the primary carriers and perpetrators of the disease, they brilliantly changed the perception in much of the public’s mind, by focusing on their brethren dying, rather than the actual reason for the deaths. Yes, they are victims. But they are also undeniably perpetrators.

“Victims” receive sympathy. And that’s the key to understanding the con. The greatest failure of homosexuals—this unspeakable tragedy they have inflicted on themselves and the world—has ironically turned into their greatest tactical victory via that sympathy. Homosexuality is more institutionally and socially acceptable than ever before!

The rage that is in the heart of the homosexual, be it toward a parent or a past sexual abuser, is the real issue that needs to be dealt with. But instead of facing up to that challenge, homosexuals and our society have increasingly accepted and even celebrated the aberrant expression of that rage.

The Canadian prime minister has unfortunately fallen into this trap too, announcing the recognition of same-sex marriage, thereby legitimizing and rewarding a “lifestyle” that leads to death.

In Canada, a narrow majority polled—54 percent—are in favor of same-sex marriage. Fortunately, most Americans still have some sanity intact, and accept it in far lower numbers. But the same rot that is destroying Canada can destroy us too, if we let it.

America is increasingly being isolated by a weak, corrupt world. But we must never be tempted to lower our standards in response—to do so would be fatal. It’s time Americans took an honest look at homosexuality and its true origins, lest we fall to the same fate of our northern neighbor, and a shameless world on the downslide.

Society clearly doesn't dislike lesbianism as much as male homosexuality. When I was in grammar school, way back in the 50s, there were two women teachers who lived together, and had done so for years. I never thought anything of it, but as I got older, I learned that everyone in my little town knew they were lesbians. Nobody cared. Nobody threatened them with firings.

OTOH, we had a high school teacher who was quite effeminate. He was harrassed constantly for it, even though he was not gay at all. He was married, had a bunch of kids, and showed no sign of playing around on his wife in any way. He was just a soft-spoken, quiet man who liked poetry better than anything else. He finally quit, after a series of death threat letters, and moved away.

So, it was OK with this little town in the 50s if two grammar school teachers were lesbians, but not OK if an effeminate sort of man who was straight taught in High School.

Very strange.

If one woman is good, then two women are twice as good.
At least, I think that's it. I've never actually thought to enter a philosophical discussion with myself while enjoying two women...never mind.

"With lesbian scenes, most guys are thinking "Here's where I walk in and they go to work on me."
"

Could be. I'm not an afficianado of porn, so I don't know.

Revisionist history, Cathryn.

Homosexuality was actually invented in the Fifties, not the Sixties. Although some of the details have been lost to history, most people credit Little Richard of Georgia for the discovery and even I can remember him being "covered" by Pat Boone. If you research it, though, I think you'll find that there are still some who claim that Little Richard stole the whole idea from Rock Hudson. And now that he's dead, we may never know the exact truth. But, the important thing is that by the Sixties, homosexuality was already being franchised throughout the country.

Language being important, the word “homosexual” was overthrown, and replaced with the happy word “gay.”

This is the part I've never understood. What's so happy about any of this?

Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien said last week his country would officially recognize same-sex marriages.

In Canukese Jon Crouton decreed, "A man's anus is as good as any woman's vagina !".

No, most males like to see lipstick lesbians making out. Then again, there isn't too much that won't make Mr. Happy sit up and take notice. The reality is, most lesbians that I have known are coyote ugly. They either had men and got burnt or could get one.
Trust me, if you could see my sister and her lover kiss, the only thing you would feel is sick.

Yeah, to be honest, that's something I've often wondered about. I've even asked my male friends. They won't cop to enjoying it to me, but I've heard them talking amongst themselves. I think it's bizzare.

It gives you more parts to look at. And it shows women enjoying sex outside the presense of some guy with a big wallet.

Women don't get off on watching men - we think it's just about the nastiest thing we can think of.

Actually a lot of women do. Or at least they like reading about it. Do a search for "slash fiction," most of it's written by women.

You're right, Cathryn -- good read.

I was recently conned by some "gays" and, from the title, I thought someone had found some predisposition among gays to behave deceptively.

So it wasn't what I expected, but it was still a good read.

I understand your revulsion with our society's obsession with buggery, but if health insurance premiums triple because of sodomite diseases then we must pay for their deviant lifestyle

When you see guys here on FR making anti-homosexual arguments, they're almost always talking about male-male relationships.

And it's mostly about the butt sex. I find it gross as well. But it's not unique to gays nor is it a necessary part of their repertoire.

That's why government should get out of both health care and marriage IMO.

Yeah, to be honest, that's something I've often wondered about.

If I had to venture a guess (YUK!) it may have something to do with why women can have multiple or no orgasms where men always have only one with the same equal pleasurable experience every time. Perhaps men are hardwired to be aroused when seeing a woman aroused regardless if it’s by male or female and knowing there’s always room for them to be received and plant his seed. The phenomena of the “train,” mostly urban legend always talked about at college parties, where multiple men take turns with one woman works only one way, you don’t see it with multiple women and one man. I would also point out that by a great margin most of the porn industry’s customers are male and most women don’t like watching it much less two women kissing.

That said and feeling a need to take a shower, homosexuality is disordered pathology, anti-social behavior and rightfully shunned by society.
