The so-called "separation of church and state" doctrine means a government entity can't promote a Christian lifestyle, but a government agency (the US Fish & Wildlife Service in this case) has no problems hosting a web site promoting the Gay and Lesbian lifestyle. Notice how the poster depicts young children at play.

They do reproduce and adopt. There was a book in the seventies or early eighties called "Shock-proof Sidney Skate" that detailed some of the problems of having homosexual and lesbian parents.

I think you're missing the real problem here. The problem is that politicians devote public (taxpayer) funds to various groups to pander their votes. Once you start with that there is no end as every group will demand its part or its event.

You want a parade? Good for you. You organize it and you show that you have funded all aspects including the policing and the cleanup. Then you get a permit. Otherwise you can have your parade on private property.

The one "good" thing to say about all this is that since "Gay Pride Month" is in June, few school students will be subjected to devoted classwork for "Gay Pride Month".

Of course, the celebrations kick off with Gay Day at a number of youth oriented theme parks in June (right when the kids get out of school and some families go on vacation).
