Please give me a hint on how to really get to my former marine hubby who spent time in Japan?
He always one ups me when we jab at each other kidding around. Could you tell me phonetically something that will let me win for once?

Yep.

OTOH, I laugh when I hear Americans trying to handle the 'tsu' sound in Japanese or the "nya nyi nyu nye nyo" thing, or (attempt to) pronounce, in Hong Kong, Ms. Ng's last name. It kinda' goes both ways.

I hope he is a FORMER MARINE Hubby, not a FORMER Marine HUBBY? At any way, here's a way to fix his wagon:

Just call him a "chimpira". It really means "just a common street punk" but can also be used in jest in the manner you suggest. The proper way to deliver said insult to the victim is to say "kono chimpira". Said with a little bit of insipid irritation will flavor it just right.

Just remember to 'make up', OK?

Somewhere, somewhere! there must be a mailing address for the North Korean Mission at the UN in New York City. It would be a blast to mail one of those Chia Pet kits to them, tell them it is to commemorate the "Dear Leader"'s birthday and could they kindly, in revolutionary chuche spirit, put it on display at his mountain-top shrine in North Korea that has all those other god-awful gifts from foreign dignataries around the world.

Ooooo comas are our friends!
Make that my former marine, hubby....
I have to remember those words. He always gets to me by saying, "Well I guess you can't help being blonde or Polish!"
I normally am laughing so hard that I can't even come up with anything.
I'm glad you're not nukeable at the moment.

More correctly, "Yo Kim Chia Head, the Short-Donged One"

I can tell by the way he struts around that this is true . .
