yeah, the Klamath tribe like them suckers, but most Oregon people say: "never give a sucker an even break", in fact when we catch them we thump em on the head and throw them up n the bank, no one waqnts to eat them, as well as no native Oregonian would even consider eating a catfish, which are given the same ritual "burial" as suckers.

ah, here in WV we do the same with sucker fish, however, fried catfish is wonderful! lol

Everyone I know has called suckerfish 'Suck@zz' fish.
They're worthless as an eating fish.
Anyone who claims they are good eating should be laughed off the planet.

as well as no native Oregonian would even consider eating a catfish

Do West Coast catfish taste different than East Coast catfish or are they just considered too easy a catch?
