Guitar Sam of the Boycott Hollywood website is organizing a protest for the screening of "Buffalo Soldiers" in his town of New Bern, NC if anyone lives in that vicinity or knows of anyone that would be interested in joining him.

The film is set for limited release in NYC and LA July 25th with broader release soon after. Maybe other freepers would like to organize a protest and alert the media in their city? I live in Syracuse, NY and would be very interested in hearing from others that may wish to join me as well.

It's already been previewed and judged to depict the military in a negative way...the title is offensive to blacks who cherish the memory of the frontier soldiers that fought on the western frontier as well. Enough of this Hollywood bashing of America. The intro supposedly shows men walking on the flag.

The title of this movie is incorrect.The term "Buffalo Soldiers" refers to the U.S.cavalry of the old west,not the marines.With the exception of a few white officers the "Buffalo Soldiers were all black.

Harvey Weinstein, head of Miramax Disney's satellite and producer of Buffalo Soldiers (and Michael Moore's mendacious ramblings) gave $135,000 to Democrats in the 2002 election cycle and nothing to Republicans. One can expect that anything that comes out of Miramax will be slanted far left.

Why anyone pays a dime for a Disney product (or listens to its ABC Television network) is beyond me.
