Well, he's been over there in the sandbox for quite a little while now and we're pleased and happy to say that he's doing very well indeed.

Well, except for the fact that he's more than just a little bit p---ed off, and we can't blame him one little bit. And no, you drooling Lefty F---wits, he's not p---ed off the way your beloved "press" wants us to believe, oh no.

He's p---ed off at you and your lying media.

And there are only two words that serve to describe adequately what p---ing a Marine off amounts to:

But back to Sgt. Naviguesser. He's sent us a GREAT letter about just what actually goes on in Iraq right now, as seen from the actual trenches, rather than from some nice air conditioned news room on the Left Coast.

We'll leave the floor to Sgt. Naviguesser now, and we assure you that it is worth every damn second you're about to invest in reading it.

Of course, you could always choose to rely on some blow-dried babboon from the Pravda on the Hudson to give you the "straight dope"... It's a free country, after all.

Yes- I think I have read enough to know what they put with daily- in this season: extreme heat, boredom, homesickness, stress, fatigue, frustration, and depression.

And yes, I do care. Perhaps you should review a few threads on FR in which armchair warriors have called our troops in Iraq "whiners" and "complainers" and even insulted the wives and families of those fallen or wounded in Iraq for questioning this war.

Sheesh. We offered an opinion that the letter was a fake, and therefore we are cynical, or anti-military, or critical of expressions of our troops. I fail to see the logic of your deductions being made.

I have read the Bible more than once, every word, in fact, but have not seen any chapter or verse which reads "KMA!"

And really it shouldn't matter who penned it, at least not to me. Anyone who feels they have to believe that a Marine wrote this letter in Iraq, then that is fine for them, I suppose. It's much more important to uphold the values of the nation which the letter-writer came from than it is to uphold the illusion that it was a Marine who penned it.

I highly doubt this letter is legit. But even if it is why would FR accept it knowing that any signed negative letter or email from a trooper in Iraq cold result in a court martial or other punishment? We have seen the abuse given to family members who complain about their husbands or relatives stays in Iraq on this site first hand.
