Those who are in this fellowship should place a disclaimer in front of their buildings -- "Almost no respect for the word of God here. A place where anything goes."

I wonder what ramifications this will have with their church.

Absolutely disgusting and proof that The Anglicans are not Christians. So what are they?

The untra-lib modernist should be proud and rejoice at this. It makes the Christian heart sink, but might just spur real Christians to fight for the truth of the Gospel against the onslaughts of the depraved.

Been lurking a long time. Just logged from my son's computer. Maybe the Episcopalians read these passages in the Bible:

Leviticus 11:10: And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination.

Note the use of the same description "abomination." Ergo Homosexuality according to the Bible is no worse than eating a shrimp cocktail or a catfish platter. Where am I wrong?

I assume the conservative faction will now appeal to the Primates (thirty-some around the world, mostly very conservative, Griswold is U.S. Primate). But will the Primates recognize the objection and allow a split, thereby creating two Episcopal churches in America?

This decision has been terribly ill-considered by the Episcopal Church. A sign of the times we live in!

Later in the afternoon they also voted to repeal the laws of gravity.

Unfortunately dozens were injured as they jumped off their chairs in an attempt fly around the room. One prominent Episcopal convention goer, a supporter of Robinson, was seen writhing in pain asking "What went wrong? We had the votes to repeal the laws of gravity!" We control this convention darn it!"

The level of social and political discourse in this country has degenerated to rock bottom. Gay bishops and gay marriages make a mockery of Christianity. The court abolishes the Ten Commandments. The former president Clinton lies without batting an eye, sex with that woman does not include oval office blow jobs. Small wonder the Islamists claim the moral high ground and fight like hell to destroy our nation, institutions and economy. If they just leave us alone a while longer we will do it for them. No doubt about it now folks, the USA is rapidly approaching spiritual and moral bankruptcy. Apostacy has a very steep price and the Episcopal Church will pay for it with its very existence. The essential tenets of the faith extant for millenia cannot be destroyed by fiat from sodomite lovers. Spit in Gods eye and he will spit back.

Luke 17: 26"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28"It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

30"It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

31On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32Remember Lot's wife! 33Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. 34I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."[4] 37"Where, Lord?" they asked. He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."

Homo handshakes all around after the vote, I'm sure.

Followed by the choir

singing the new Epervertal Church official hymn, "Butt Holey, Butt Holey, Butt Holey".
