What's dirty about it is the insinuation that he's unfit to serve as Governor. That somehow this makes him incapable of the job. It's using people's prejudices and emotions to get them to make a knee-jerk reaction, which, as a poster here recently pointed out, is defined as demagoguery.

What is the point of bringing up something Arnold said 26 years ago? People change. They grow up, get married, have children. I'd be curious to know how many FReepers lifestyles and views have changed somewhat in the last two decades or so. I'd guess more have than haven't.

I doubt anyone will care (or even notice), but he DENIED having ever done ANY drugs of ANY kind in a 1988 interview with Playboy.
