Hogwash.

There comes a time when personal ambition must be set aside and self-affirming but false justifications for one’s candidacy need to be reexamined.

That's right. Arnold should reevaluate his candidacy. LOL

No loyal Republican should be supporting and voting for a liberal like Schwarzenegger or Bustamonte.

Conservative and moderate Republican voters, with help from independent voters can get McClintock elected. Don't believe the hype from the leftwing.

No true Republican will vote for a conservative. At best, they will consider a moderate (prefered is a liberal leaning moderate) that makes a few half hearted conservative statements if they don't have an actual liberal to run. The Republicans will do everything they can to prevent a true conservative running as a Republican.

"No loyal Republican should be supporting and voting for a liberal like Schwarzenegger"

No free-thinking, common sense, non-dogmatic, conservative would vote for a selfish, power-mongerer like McClintock. . .

SIMON LOST in a two way race with the most despised governor of CA, which is direct proof that your assertions are false.

The front-runner is not the one who needs to remove himself. Sorry if you can't see that reality. Wishful thinking and pouting do not defeat Democrats.

Amen! If Californians want a liberal to keep the status quo--vote either for Arnold or Bustamante, or you could leave Gray Davis in offic. Once again, hopefully, the Californians will get what they "think" they want and exactly what they deserve. WAKE UP!!
