Let me check on another book I found here in the U of Chicago libraries about this and see what kind of incidents that guy documents.
All in all, though, the point of the writer's article at the top of the thread was fatuous. Iraq was taken in weeks rather than years. Of course there would be a significant group of folks who would refuse to believe that it was over or that it would be better to acquiesce. That they are actually carrying out what those who designed Werewolf mostly only intended is not surprising. And, of course, it's no judgment on the U.S. success up to this point.
