However, they do not live by the edicts of political correctness.

In contrast to Democrats, that live and die by whatever is the prevailing party line.

If he were alive today, John F. Kennedy could very well be a South Park Republican. He rightly proclaimed, "An economy hampered by restrictive tax rates will never produce enough revenues to balance our budget-just as it will never produce enough jobs or profits." You read that right. JFK was a supply-side tax cutter. His alleged private exploits would place him squarely within the South Park wing of the Republican Party.

How come no Pubbie gets this CONCEPT into the mainstream press? Most of the voting electorate are so friggin ignorant they think Martin Sheen (West Wing) is president.

Right On. There are a lot of us who vote Republican. Most of my meals are macrobiotic vegetarian and I am libertarian on several issues. The main issues for me are welfare reform, economics, and National Security. And I'm 100% in favor of the Republican Party on those important concepts. Long live America. Let Freedom be Forever. Amen

The media generally misrepresents Republicans as religious rich white males... Hopefully, the South Park Republicans will shatter the unfair stereotype and set the record straight.

Oh, I hope not. The longer the media and the Demonrats (But I repeat myself) remain delusional and go on raving impotently with their tired, worn-out stereotypes, the more credibility they lose, and the stupider they look when people find out the truth elsewhere...

Gad...anyday now we'll find Clinton has changed his registration to the GOP, thinking it stands for Girls on Parade. Video soon to be released: GOPers Gone Wild.

South Park is great, but sometimes I do have to censor it. And this Tech Central Station is also wonderful, every article I see posted from there is excellent, and touches on some subjects ignored or overlooked elsewhere.

Great post!

I know a number of Republicans who are these so-called South Park Reps. They are not very religious, and they tend to indulge in the same pleasurable activities as many Dems. They simply believe in the less government interferes with citizens, the better off the country is. Of course they are right, but bleeding-heart liberals need a cause, and the idea that most people are better off without gov help is anathema to them.

I remember Sally Quinn used to say that the Republicans in DC were more fun to party with. They'd get drunk, eat meat and smoke without being so angst ridden about the environment, et al.

I think one thing this essay gets wrong is that Bloomberg isn't a republican at all. He's ruining NYC just like any dem would do or has done in the past.

I think I finally found a label that fits me. I'm a thirty-three-year-old who loves heavy metal, greasy burgers, wrestling, "R" movies, women in bikinis, free speech and a beer from time to time. I also believe in God, the promise of America, limited government, personal responsibility, the Golden Rule, ethics, morals, bounderies, friends and family. I believe in progress while remembering that sometimes the old ways are still the best. Wow - I'm a South Park Republican!

I'm cool and enjoy "R" rated movies and watch top rated shows like every one else. If life was nothing but profanity it would be bad but some toilet humor allows us to laugh at life's absurdities. So yeeeeeeah I am a South Park Republican!
