KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A Kansas City man is accused of posing as an employee for a casino to gain the trust of a female patron, then robbing and sexually assaulting her.

Gebre Gebreselassie, 27, was arrested Wednesday night and charged in Clay County with kidnapping, first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and forcible sodomy. He is jailed on $1 million bond, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said in a news release.

Authorities allege Gebreselassie asked a 40-year-old customer at Harrah's Casino in Kansas City to go with him for questioning over the weekend. The patrol said after leaving the casino, he forced the woman to withdraw money from her bank account before driving her to an isolated area and sexually assaulting her.

The suspect left the victim at the scene, the patrol said, and she later reported the assault to the patrol's Gaming Division.

I'm posting this because I would like for every man, woman, and child in American to be told to NEVER go outside with anyone who identifies themself as a security guard. Anyone who is approached in a mall, shopping center etc., should run to the nearest cashier and ask for help, ask to speak with the manager, or ask to dial 911

I almost quit buying his books because of that story..! As a parent, it's just hard to read books or watch movies etc., in which children are victimized like that...Scary stuff!

:( Of course I have spoken to them about strangers..and to never leave with them, open doors etc.. but this was just like those horror stories in which guys with fake copcar lights pull over female victims... I just never thought of a predator using this technique before.
