This is a thread meant to contain news photos of Arnold -- past and present.
Some of you have been posting some great pictures of Arnold when he visited our troops, with Bush I, pictures from his current campaign.
The objective is to have all those pictures in one thread both as a reference, and also to remind people all the great things Arnold has done.
If you have some good news stories or quotes, please post then as well. It will be fine, interspersed with pictures.
We would like to keep this as a tribute to Arnold, so we would greatly appreciate it, if the anti-Arnold people would refrain from posting anti-Arnold propaganda posts or pictures, or out of context quotes, with the intent to make Arnold look bad. Most of us have refrained from polluting your daily McClintock trhead, so we would appreciate reciprocal courtesy. I hope that the Admin Moderators will also help us keeping this ONE thread free of Arnold bashing. There are plenty of other threads for that. Thank you.
Please visit Arnold's official site:

I hope that Freepers will check out this thread and the above website and learn about Arnold -- you may be surprised, pleasantly.

I suspect that many on this forum who today support Schwarzenegger were those who labored tirelessly to elect Simon in the Republican gubernatorial primary. The worked against the wishes of the RNC and were undaunted. They continued to support Simon in the general election even in the face of RNC opposition.
These are also probably the same individuals who worked hard to make the recall a reality. The pushed forward inspite of the jaundiced eye cast at them from both the state Republican party and the RNC. These same people were estatic when McClintock announced for Governor. Finally a chance to elect a conservative. "Even Mickey Mouse could beat the governor he's so unpopular" was the refarain of the day not too many weeks ago.
Then the picture changed. Bustamante entered the race. Bush quickly countered with Schwarzenegger and these same individuals fled to the RNC quickly forgetting their conservative values and their resentment of Bush for his luke warm support of THEIR choice for governor and the lack of support form their state party in the early days of the recall.
At the first glance of the shiny new Trojan horse they jumped on the Lincoln Club bus and fled to Mecca (Crawford)

I just wanted to mention that I've become a great fan of yours. I sincerely look forward to the day when we are on the same "side" again :-)

Sorry, I have no idea who drew it... I'm sorry I didn't think to send to you earlier!
This was one of the ones I found long ago and I forgot all about it... it is nice, isn't it? :-)

Thanks very much for posting that link about the false "right-wing crazy" remark. It sounded extremely fishy to me all along and makes a lot of sense that it was all started by a malcontent :-(

This whole gallery is a wonderful tribute.
The gratitude from the Arnold team is melting
misconceptions by the day, and these pictures
surely help demonstrate so much good.
Thank you for taking the time to research and
post :o)

"ARNOLD TAKES TERMINATOR TO IRAQ SAYS THANK YOU TO TROOPS"
On July 4th, Arnold helped pump up U.S. servicemen stationed in Iraq by celebrating Independence Day with a special screening of his new film, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. "I play a terminator, but you guys are the true terminators," Arnold told the soldiers.

We are on the "same side"!! We just like horses of a different color. (I have to allow that yours is a lot prettier!).
Thanks for the compliment - my head is swelling up as we speak! I'll never make through the door.

Just look at the joy he and all those around him exude.
You can't fake that.
People say "He's just an actor."
Does anyone know what it takes to do what he's doing?
The magnanimous spirit, the grace in the face of cynicism, the determination and discipline to be excellent...that's what it takes to succeed, and to maintain success. He had to be all that FIRST, even before the acting.
Those qualities will sustain him and his family throughout his governorship, as they have during his business and film career.

Thank you for a wonderful thread. It was great to come home tonight and look through all these pictures you all have posted. I'll ignore the whacko posts - sad to see people stoop so low and just "lose it".....
I especially love the pictures of Arnold with the troops. These hold a special place in my heart!
Cheers, CC :)
