Yes, if there are other clubs like the Black Student Union and Asian Club she should be allowed to.

Why should caucasians' rights of free association be dependent on the vagaries of other groups electing to (or electing not to) exercise their rights of free association?

"Why should caucasians' rights of free association be dependent on the vagaries of other groups electing to (or electing not to) exercise their rights of free association?"

There is an answer to this question. It's called Social Engineering.

"The question is or at least ought to be, how can such a small, godless, minority have such influence over our courts and legislative processes?"

Answer:

U.S. Supreme Court, 2003 - The Oligarchy*

Justices of the Supreme Court

Back Row (left to right): Ginsburg, Souter, Thomas, Breyer
Front Row (left to right): Scalia, Stevens, Rehnquist, O'Connor, Kennedy

ol·i·gar·chy
Pronunciation: 'ä-l&-"gär-kE, 'O-
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -chies
Date: 1542
1 : government by the few
2 : a government in which a small group exercises control especially for corrupt and selfish purposes; also : a group exercising such control
3 : an organization under oligarchic control

So when does it flip around so as the majority then should be entitled with minority priveleges?

You'd be amazed. Here the hispanics are well over 80% and growing --- but they still insist that they have "minority rights" and should be given preference in jobs and scholarships. Once you get that minority label, it seems you never want to let go --- it gets you way too many benefits. Most of the whites are leaving town.

major news when Caucasians want to freely associate with one another

The big irony --- if she really gets this club going is that all the others will be trying to get into it. Just like you see white, black, hispanic neighborhoods, the only one that people sue to get into are the white neighborhoods. We see even see black and hispanic beauty pageants but you don't see whites trying to get into those ---- but there isn't an all-white one allowed anywhere.

Isn't it interesting that in some parts of the country (therefore some public schools) caucasians are numerically in the minority. So when does it flip around so as the majority then should be entitled with minority priveleges?

Never, because the "privileges" in question are not extended to groups because they are minorities.

They are extended because the groups in question are not white.

Even in a school where ther are only two white kids left they're still-white.

Do you see clearly the pinched visage in the upper left corner? That, sir, is "Ruthie Remidies," as we knew her in the '60s; she had better legs then but the face is genau so unyielding.

She was an extreme leftist then who gained her ascendency, as did one of her students named Hazel O'leary, through identity politics.

Strange, there was no fillibuster against her confirmation.

Yes, and she has "SOCIAL ENGINEER" written in the center of her forehead.

I thought I heard on The Rush Limbaugh Show that the NAACP was suing to prevent this club from being formed. They were claiming the purpose was to discriminate against blacks.

Spent a week at several Miami resorts this summer.

At one, the ENTIRE STAFF was Cuban. (I thought it was neat.) They spoke 95% of the time in spanish.

One day, a Miami-Dade building safety inspector came in the front door (while I was sitting in the lobby) and met the general manager for an inspection.

The (county-paid) building inspector was in an official uniform, shirt, pants, huge badge on his chest, etc.

NOT ONE WORD of English was spoken during their entire conversation.

Heheh... minority? What minority?

I do not have a problem with anyone who has gotten over their misguided white guilt. And I recognize that the implicit ideology behind most of the leftist propaganda in the culture wars is that whitey is the locus of all historical evils. That said, I recognize that clubs and organizations have always formed around minorities, but they were usually ethnic oriented and had more to do with a common culture. These clubs are based on race, not culture. I think that that is an important difference to mention.

Unfortunately, I do not see much of a choice left for descendants of European immigrants as they are being demonized by liberal intelligentsia as well as some in the various minority coomunities.

I fervently hope for the day when we can see each other as persons instead of members of a particular race.

There is a richness to be found in culture that is absent from the shallow water of identity politics.

We are playing the Democrats game of Race and Class warfare every time we give in to the fear that we will be "punished" if we start something like a Caucasian Club.

Did anyone else see the interview with her on CNN last night? I caught it at the airport. I don't know if she was just camera shy, but she appeared dumb as a brick. Usually the people who pull these things off have some pizazz or something. She looked like she had been put up to forming the club by someone else.

I agree that she is pretty wierd and not very articulate -- but that might actually work in her favor. If she looked like Buffy and Muffy then the Left could use that as a lever that this is elitism (and muddy the picture)

Sometimes people who are too dumb to know they can't do something do it anyway. Simple people tend to think in simple terms (look at the Left). So the nuances and complexities that might slow others down didn't affect her. There is something to seeing A=B=C (Black Clubs, Latino Clubs and Asian Clubs=Ethnic Clubs are OK, therefore Caucasian Ethnic Clubs are OK).

I cringe when I see her but it will be so fun watching the Jacksons and Bystamantes of the world hoisted on their own petard.

It is interesting that Clinton was able to appoint the most radical leftists like Ginsburg and Souter (oops!)...

It is interesting that radical leftists never get outed by the GOP, wheter in the majority or minority, while mainstream judges like Estrada get Borked.
