Eleanor Clift: Falling, Can George Bush Get Up?
Newsweek ^

Normally a president gets a boost in the polls when he addresses the nation from the White House. But President Bush's numbers dipped after he went on television to announce he was asking Congress for an additional $87 billion for reconstruction in Iraq. That's on top of $79 billion already appropriated this year to cover the cost of the war.
NO WONDER the voters are gagging. They don't blame Bush for terrorism or the weak economy, but they sense that he's adrift, that he has no exit plan for Iraq or solution for our economic woes other than letting the deficit mount.

They're talking about the left wing Zogby.
Bush is still better than Clinton was during this time in his presidency, so it's no big deal. Funny News Week isn't mentioning that "little, irrelavent" tid bit.
Fear not. They won't be able to hold anything against him. There's still a year to go.
I say they're getting more and more desperate by the day..

$87 billion is a mere drop in the bucket compared to what 9-11 cost us. That price tag is measured in the trillions of dollars. What will be the future cost of tens of thousands of Americans lying dead in the streets? Elenor Clift is just a shrill, myopic, Bush-hating dolt.

Elenor Clift is just a shrill, myopic, Bush-hating dolt. Elenor is only following orders, there is an all out effort to drop Bush's poll numbers enough to allow Hil to enter the race.
Bush is fighting the good fight, and he had to ask for financial support for the war. Congress needs to remember its our guys overthere and fork over the funding or there will be lots of vacancies in congress. Bush will survive this because the democrats are positioning themselves in a cornor on this one.
What is their alternative, no money, bring the troops home? Hell, we haven't even brought the troops home from Germany or Bosnia yet. Who are they kidding?

$87 billion is a mere drop in the bucket compared to what 9-11 cost us. Pennies compared to the cost of Hillarys Facist Health Care Program. The worst part? It will all go to pay for Democrat diseases. They don't pay taxes! They just live off them.

Eleanor Rodham Clift wouldn't even know the definition of "exit strategy"....that's just another term she picked up from the talking points papers (the ones the DNC don't put out, of course)

Who the hell is this guy in drag? I mean look at him - you can't honestly tell me that this is a female.
Even Janet Reno would say this was a guy.
