THE OTHER LIMBAUGH: NEW BOOK CALL TO ARMS AGAINST 'CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION'

**THE RELIGIOUS WAR IS NOT IN THE MIDDLE EAST, IT IS IN THIS COUNTRY!

**IN 1776, 99.8% OF THE PEOPLE IN AMERICA WERE PROFESSED CHRISTIANS

The new season may be only one day old but the most controversial book of the season may just be: David Limbaugh's PERSECUTION: HOW LIBERALS ARE WAGING WAR AGAINST CHRISTIANITY.

Limbaugh enters a very crowded new book release week [O'Reilly, Albom], but the nationally syndicated columnist and brother of Rush has delivered a crushing blow with a charge that liberals in courts, government, media and Hollywood oppress Christianity and anything Christian.

The book ranked 3,057 on AMAZON's hitparade Monday afternoon. Publisher REGNERY plans 100,000 copies in its initial run.

*A New Jersey teacher was forced by an ACLU suit to abandon plans to take children to see the Broadway version of “A Christmas Carol.”

*School officials in Windsor, Virginia prohibited two graduating seniors from singing “The Prayer,” a popular song sung by Celine Dion, among others. When the students raised their first amendment rights, the school announced there would be no singing of any sort at the graduation ceremony.

*In April 2001, the Logan County Public Library in Bowling Green, Kentucky, fired employee Kimberly Draper for wearing a necklace with a cross pendant to work

With PERSECUTION, Limbaugh ups the ante in the intensifying media/culture battle. He was warns the reader in his introduction:

"This book chronicles discrimination against Christians in American society. While tolerance is touted as the highest virtue in our popular culture, Christians are often subjected to scorn and ridicule and denied their religious freedoms."

Unfortunately, all we can do is not vote for those of them that are running for office.

Hey, at least we are not being thrown to the lions...at least not yet.

Best Regards

In April 2001, the Logan County Public Library in Bowling Green, Kentucky, fired employee Kimberly Draper for wearing a necklace with a cross pendant to work.

Somebody blew a very easy fact check there. I point that out for the benefit of any slobbering adulators who will take this work as gospel.

My wife and I used to spend every Easter at the small Christian church located in the heart of Yosemite National Park. It was awesome. We met people from all over the world, shared in our faith, and walked out after the service to look at the beauty of Bridal Veil Falls.

Then, in 1997, Bill Clinton's administration decided that despite the fact that the church was there before the park, and under the cover of "environmental upgrades", the church was closed down.

When I wrote to the National Park Service to protest, they brought up the "Separation of Church and State" as the basis for not allowing the church to exist any more.

I asked them to please point out the clause in our constitution that allows the federal government to sieze land with a church on it then condemn the church... they could not.

On one hand, I'm glad
to see this book. Left wing hate
for Christians defines

almost everything
they do. On the other hand,
This book just further

promotes culture war
throughout our society.
People take up sides

about everything
these days. I don't feel any
pop imperative

stressing that happy
people always find a way
to work together...

I can't imagine
a sane, functioning culture
built on everyone

hating their neighbors.
(But it must be obvious
that the business world

will thrive (for a while)
supplying all the groups with
pop "ammunication.")

I would rather beat
all the 'Rats without playing
their hate games with them...

Sergio, I agree. Reason enough to keep Bush President. And this is reason, too, why the Dems are so set against approving his most conservative judicial nominees.

IMHO the Left is being very short sighted in their war against Christanity - for the simple reason that it flys in the face of human nature: The more you forbid something, the more people are going to want it.

Look at the former Soviet Union and East Black countries. They stoutly forbid and punished religious belief, and look what happened when the people gained their freedom The smoldering volcano of religous belief exploded. Few places are more religious (church attendence, seminary students, etc. ) than these countries. The same will happen here. "The forbidden fruit is always the sweetest."

This bitter-ambition of the Left, like so many of their others, is doomed to fail.

Welp, we're in this mess precisely because the Liberals, Secularists, Marxists and Atheists are waging a war Christians refuse to fight.

And they just love it.

While we pray and hold candleight vigils and kneel while holding hands around our taken-for-granted monuments, the Enemy is leapfrogging over us and going right to the Courts and the Councils and the bastions of education to pummel us to dust via judicial activism and getting their lifestyles and cultures ensconced in LAW.

So while we have knelt, and slept in the arms of relevant prosperity, the theives have come in the night and stolen our birthrights because we refused to STAND GUARD.

Now our very religious right to free exercise and of speech is in the balance, and unless we stand in the gap left vacant, draw the sword of truth and cut down the crap and FIGHT this war, then we lose and America is doomed to utter annihilation and subjugation.

Think Queen Hillary with Patriot Acts I & II at her disposal, and it might make General Maximus' stint in the coloseum tame in comparison.

We might witness Wacos every week, with a bunch of churchified folk cheering right along with the rest of the Counter Culture bunch.

Wouldn't want to lose the 501C3 status and shrink the offering plate income.

I just got back from buying this book. I was shocked when the teenage girl at the checkout expressed interest in it, and wanted to read it.

Aside from the main topic of the book, what Limbaugh is trying to remind people is that we are still in a culture war, one we are losing everyday. This is just one front. Listened to hannity this afternoon tell college students to "just put up with" liberal-indocrination at their colleges.
Somehow, that struck me as a pretty weak answer. What, we should just ignore the influence of big-media, colleges, hollyweird on our youth and trust it won't erode our democracy?

For an interesting opinion on this subject, read "Valley of the Dry Bones" online. Written by Jim Reames in 1992, they convert/post a chapter a week. It's linked from www.patriotist.com.

LK 21:7 "Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?"

LK 21:8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am he,' and, `The time is near.' Do not follow them. [9] When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."

LK 21:10 Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. [11] There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

LK 21:12 "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. [13] This will result in your being witnesses to them. [14] But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. [15] For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. [16] You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. [17] All men will hate you because of me.

Amen to your post!
I see you that you too have taken notice to the "so called Christians" (ala- Barry Lind) the Media trots out everytime they choose to slam the bible believing Christian majority in this country. They are all so willing to display their superior understanding of the scriptures as they happily join in the effort to paint us all as unintelligent, uninformed, and typical "knee jerk right wing extremist".

Ecumenical is such a nice work for what these people call themsleves.
I much prefer calling them what they are; HERITICS!

See, now Christians are hypocrits, "carnal," with the "preachers" grubbing money from lonely, little, old ladies.

Ergo, if those hypocritical Christians are so wrong about everything, they've got to be all wet concerning homosexuality /sarcasm. Again, the laws are in place to start dragging Christians to fed. prisons, guilty before proven innocent concerning homosexuality...

'zactly. If you have a few moments, see the online book I referenced previously.

What we need are more Justice Moore's and men that understand (and abide by) the Constitution, the Declaration, and the Bible.

Can't pull that article up, sorry. Research that later. Sounds good.

Again, the Constitution is null and void, a part of history. The ride is going to get rough for those with moral convictions, for the sheeple have been too dumbed-down to even understand the rudiments of the Constitution...
