A new poll released today reverses the results of yesterday's CNN-USA Today poll which showed Wesley Clark in a virtual tie with President George Bush.
Today's results show that the same 49 percent who supported the retired Army general yesterday now say they would "never" vote for him.
The voter flip-flop shocked Mr. Clark, who attracted attention last week by saying he would have supported the Iraq war, and that he never would have supported the Iraq war.

Yeah, the last poll was taken before Wesley opened his mouth.

'Mary' doesn't know. HHQ (Hillary Headquarters) is currently messaging the data.

Yeah, the last poll was taken before Wesley opened his mouth.Which time he opened his mouth? He STILL has to repeat the same thing two times in a row. Talk about sitting on a razor's edge and trying to make up your mind, this guy has it down pat.

Mary!, What does this mean?
That means the "unamed candidate" has a name now and they don't like him either!

Bizarre, but not out of the universe.
First poll was totally lousy--taken over a weekend, which slants the results greatly toward the left; also was a poll not of likely voters, not of registered voters, but of a bunch of people, only about 80% of whom were registered voters. Nice beauty contest for those who stay home on Friday night.
Second poll is only of democrats, it appears. Since the group polled is demographically different, the results should be different. But. . . how can it be that 49% of Democrats will NEVER vote for Clarke?!?

No wonder the Dems are repulsed by CLark. He insults what little intelligence they have left.

That last line should read, "Clark stated last week that he would have supported the war in Iraq, except for the fact that he opposed it."

Work it through again in your mind... say that the Military is composed of three guys in a room, two with an IQ of 120 each and a certain blithering idiot with an IQ of 60 -- the average IQ of the three will be 100.Now say that there are two Democrats in the next room, each with an IQ of 30 (human vegetables, basically). When a certain 60-IQ blithering idiot walks into the Democrat room, the Average IQ of the Democrat Room jumps to 40. Meanwhile, the average IQ of the Military Room jumps to 120, see...
Oh, bother. Never mind. They say when you have to explain your punch-line, it probably wasn't a very funny joke. (OP sulks off....)
best, op

Oh, liberals, can't they get their polls straight... they are little polls, I suspect they have to use a maginfying glass to get an accurate bead of what is going on in their passionate, ehm, loins...

Silly statistics. Of course it's not "the same" 49%. Only 2% switched. Get it?
