Actually, the way may be open to a Schwarzenegger landslide now.
Now, let's hope that support for the recall doesn't fade.
If anything, both Republicans must concentrate all their fire on Davis. We cannot let victory slip out of our grasp this close to such a momentous event.

Actually, the way may be open to a Schwarzenegger landslide now. Actually it was always going to be a Schwarzenegger landslide, the polls were pushing for the dems, (like they always do) but now they are showing real numbers so they don't look like they did not know it was gonna be a landslide. Interestingly, the debate was the end for Davis, all candidates basically said they could do better then Davis. He was not there to defend himself, and it made more people ready to vote him out. Bye Bye Davis.

If Bustamante does withdraw (and I'm not sure what he will do, though he is being pounded by the Davis folks), I don't see how that can really help Davis at this point. The Davis people must believe that the Bustamante backers were going to vote "yes" on recall and now there will be fewer of them.
The conservatives are motivated to vote. We are known as "broken glass Republicans." We would crawl over broken glass to get to the polling place. Compare this to "broken record Democrats."

Actually, the way may be open to a Schwarzenegger landslide now. Huh?
If Bustamante drops out there is no reason to not vote for McClintock. Remember it has always been: "Tom is great, he'd be the best governor but he can't win."
If Bustamante dropped out that would negate that argument.
