Animal rights groups threaten bigger bombs in California

Militant animal rights activists claimed responsibility for bombing two firms near San Francisco and threatened to target their staff and customers too.

In an anonymous e-mail posted on the Internet, the shadowy Revolutionary Cells group took credit for a September 25 bombing of a health product distributor and for an August 28 pipe-bomb attack on a biotech firm.

In their e-mail, posted on the website of Bite Back magazine, Revolutionary Cells threatened to double the size of its bombs targeting the companies in the future.

"Today it is 10 pounds (of explosives), tomorrow 20....until your buildings are nothing more than rubble," the group said.

In addition to company employees, the group warned ominously, "All customers and their families are considered legitimate targets."

Last week, a blast damaged health product distributor Shaklee Corp.'s headquarters in Pleasanton, near here, while two pipe bombs rocked biotech company Chiron in Emeryville on August 28.

Both attacks caused damage but no injuries at the offices of the firms, which are both have links to a British animal testing firm called Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Local police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have made no arrests in either bombing, which have been classified as domestic terrorism.

Revolutionary Cells, believed by the FBI (news - web sites) to be linked to the violent Animal Liberation Brigades, said it had attacked the companies because of their associations with Huntingdon.

Chiron and Shaklee, through its Japanese parent Yamanouchi, are or have been clients of Huntingdon, which has been under attack from animal rights activists for several years for using animals in scientific testing.

The firms said they had boosted security for their buildings and staff.

FBI spokesperson LaRae Quy said the bombings and heightened threats represented an escalation in tactics by animal rights groups after several years of quiet.

"There's definitely been an increase in activity in recent months," said Quy.

In August, activists damaged the property of a well-known French chef in San Francisco and targeted farmers in nearby Sonoma for producing foie gras, a French delicacy of livers from force-fed ducks and geese.

There's that word again... "militant".

They are terrorists, and should be pursued as part of the WOT.

No doubt Morris Dees is on his way to California to investigate these domestic terrorists.

Remember these are left-wing bombers. That's not the same as a right wing bomber. The Uni-bomber being an example of what happens if you bomb on the left and McVeigh being an example of what happens to you if you bomb on the right.

It should be noted that the Uni-bomber put a bomb on a plane that misfired only causing smoke. Otherwise he would have taken down a plane load of people.

The Uni-bomber also killed and maimed people.

These are terrorists. I see very little evidence that they are being pursued with the furvor of a McVeigh, and that seems to be right where they are headed.

Here is the terrorist's letter claiming credit as printed in Bite Back Magazine:

http://directaction.info/

Received anonymously by aboveground activists:

"On the night of September 25th volunteers from the Revolutionary Cells attacked a subsidiary of a notorious HLS client, Yamanouchi. We left an approximately 10lb ammonium nitrate bomb strapped with nails outside of Shaklee Inc, whose CEO is both the CEO for Shaklee and Yamanouchi Consumer Inc. We gave all of the customers the chance, the choice, to withdraw their business from HLS. Now you all will have to reap what you have sown. All customers and their families are considered legitimate targets.

Hey Sean Lance, and the rest of the Chiron team, how are you sleeping? You never know when your house, your car even, might go boom. Who knows, that new car in the parking lot may be packed with explosives. Or maybe it will be a shot in the dark.

We have given all of the collaborators a chance to withdraw from their relations from HLS. We will now be doubling the size of every device we make. Today it is 10lbs, tomorrow 20....until your buildings are nothing more than rubble. It is time for this war to truely have two sides. No more will all of the killing be done by the oppressors, now the oppressed will strike back. We will be non-violent when the these people are non-violent to the animal nations.

In memory of all of those fallen before us in the war for liberation: Jill Phipps (animal activist), Barry Horne (ALF), Olaia Kastresana (ETA), Arkaitz Otazua (ETA), Angayarkanni (LTTE), Babu (LTTE), Bobby Sands (IRA), Patsy O'Hara (INLA), Carlos Guiliani (anti-globilization martyr), Lee Kyung-hae (farmer and anti-globablization victim), and many more on numerous other fronts. We won't forget you, we won't let your deaths be in vain.

Gora Euskadi Ta Askatasuna!

Bringing the bomb and the bullet back into amerikan politics, Revolutionary
Cells --animal liberation brigade

----

The revolutionary cells exists as a front group for militants across the liberationary movement spectrum. We are anarchists, communists, anti-racists, animal liberationists, earth liberationists, luddites, feminists, queer liberationists, and many more things across various other fronts. Where ever there is oppression there are those unwilling to idly stand by and let it occur, and those people make up the nucleus of the revolutionary cells.

Who are the revolutionary cells? It is an anti-gmo activist destroying a gmo crop, it is a basque youth driving a car packed with explosives destined for a spanish politician, it is a queer bashing back, a rape victim putting a bullet in the rapist, a corsican nationalist planting a bomb at a french bank, it is a cincinatti riot in response to police brutality, an animal liberationist shooting a vivisector dead on his doorstep. In short it is the spirit of resistance realized. It is moving from politics to praxis.

Anyone who takes part in the war against the oppressive heirarchies in this world can consider themselves a member of the Revolutionary Cells.

Revolutionary Cells Guidelines:

1. To take strategic direct action (be it non-violent or not) against the oppressive institutions that permeate the world.

2. Make every effort to minimize non-target casualties, be they human or non-human.

3. Respect a diversity of tactics, whether they be non-violent or not.

4. Any underground activist fighting for the liberation of the humyn, earth or animal nations may consider themselves a Revolutionary Cells volunteer."

No, they don't need to be put in jail. They need to be put in a hole and covered up with dirt.

These ELF activists are evolvling like most terrorist organizations. In general, terrorists never targeted civiilians (prior to the 20th century), only politicians and military personnel. Even radical Islam abhorred killing innocent people, until Quatb and his Wahabbist emrgence. Suddenly, everyone was game. Even children.

There is no reason to think ELF won't follow suit.

Maybe they are referring to N.I.M.H.? Those rats will never learn to talk and subsequently form their own nations if the ALF keeps interfering with the evil scientist's plans.

"All customers and their families are considered legitimate targets."

So they admitted to being terrorists and are thus viable targets themselves for the WOT.

In my opinion, groups start out with the best of intentions and then go extremist. This is true of the environmentalists, the animal rights groups, Women's Lib, domestic violence, the ACLU, and even anti-abortion groups. They seems to forget that people will support their causes if they are reasonable. I'm for a clean environment, I'm for protecting animals, the ACLU and domestic violence shelters started out with a good purpose. However, these groups get hijacked by extremists! Shooting of abortion doctors, why? Sitting in trees for 360 days, why? Burning a replica of the American flag in Palestine and then jumping in front of a bulldozer, why? Mothers against drunk drivers are putting teenagers with poor judgment in prison, why?

And now this, why? My questions are rhetorical but there has to be a better way to make your point than violence. Personally, I think these organizations are being hijacked by people from the Communist party, anti-war groups, and anti-Government groups who have a stake in bringing down our country. THE ENEMY WITHIN....

They have realized - from our bungling of the Arafat situation - that terrorism is an extremely effective method of generating international sympathy for a cause.

.............
Karl Armstrong was a left-wing bomber too, destroyed Sterling Hall at UWisc-Madison in 1970. He served 8 years for murder and is a free man today.

Im not sure being pro-animal rights has anything to do with the right/left wing spectrum.Take Hitler,Bardot,World Church of the Creator for example.....all quite extreme re animal rights.Extremist animal-rights groups are also very hostile towards indigenous peoples and are therefore shunned by Marxist groups.

So you think I should use the term PC bomber vs non-PC bomber? I'll take that under advisement. You may be right in some instances. ;-)
