a mentally ill rapist living next door to a young family. "There needs to be a change in the system" is certainly an understatement.

Lisa Durant was paring apples in the kitchen at the time and ran to the yard when she heard the girls screaming. She said she found McCauley assaulting her daughter I have four daughters age 2, 4, 6, and 9. Knowing my wife, if she had been paring apples in the kitchen and came across this scene in our backyard, that paring knife would be firmly embedded somewhere in the perps body.

McCauley's probation officer, Roy Gutfinski, said Thursday that McCauley had been receiving assistance from two ESM employees at all times. They were responsible for making sure he ate, went to bed on time and didn't leave the facility.Tax dollars well spent...
Can I get two round the clock butlers provided at state expense???

He said he later asked the girl how her sisters got away. "She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said.
Ballsy kid!

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said. These people are obviously raising their kids right. They're almost up to five. I hope they have a dozen, and raise them all to be just like this one.

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " he said. A heroine at 7. We sure could use more like her.

Make prison psychiatrists and parole board members live one week a month in halfway houses of released cons from the next county. No sweetheart deals. I call it "community paroling."

'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' I think the word "hero" gets overused, these days. It is thoroughly appropriate for this young lady.

Is it just me or does the thought of some sicko abducting a young child generate a red haze across the eyes? Im a peaceful man but damn if my teeth don't clamp shut, my fists get jumpy and visions of skull-crushing head-on-pavement stomping dart thru the ol brain.
Good to know there is a primal man somewhere deep inside the veneer.

This girl is tougher than Tom Daschle. Probably taller, too.

I teach my daughter to kick 'em where it counts, rip their ears off their heads, poke their eyes out, scratch, bite and yell.
And that's just the boyfriends....

If that had been my daughter, the creep would have had his head cut off and been pinned to teh ground with the weapon that did it, a note stating time and place of collection neatly tacked on the blade.
Body left as an example to other creeps.

Vote all dems, with their bleeding hearts, out of office and then replace loony judges with real men, problems like this will be solved.

I taught my daughter to drop down low before thrusting upward with the blade into the right side of his groin to sever the femoral artery. I've always told her, "We're not victims; we're the predators."

"She said, 'I stood there to fight him so that they could get away,' " Wow. From a 7 year old? This girl is going places. She's a leader for sure.

My daughter (10) will be awarded her TKD Black Belt tomorrow night...22 months of training 3-4 classes a week...
I'm pretty extreemly proud of her but I often wonder what she would do in a situation like this. We've had a few discussions and pray it never happens but she understands that she has to be prepared for the time it could.
