Your link doesn't work.
I apologize for that..I will try and find the Link..
I mainly post Articles from Crosswalk.Com and Contender Ministries, they have very interesting articles concerning Social Issues, and Religion...
Interestingly . . .
before we went into Iraq this last time, there was a prophetic doc that caught my eye . . . now lost in the maze of my HD . . .
that IF we went into Iraq, a massive host of much more hideous demonic forces would be unleashed from hell.
Iraq has been a center of satanic activity over the centuries. Saddam and sons didn't exactly change that image, now, did they!
My memory of the prophetic doc was that it was a warning from God to not go into Iraq though it didn't explicitly seem to say that. My read on it was that God expected us to go into Iraq but was noting that there would be devastating spiritual consequences for the world if we did.
It was a bit of a puzzling doc. Seemed to be a bit of a catch 22.
In any cases, my 'read on reality' sense is that there certainly has been a massive unleashing of satanic demonic forces dumped on the world from hell since then.
Wine, women, and song?
Conciliar Church? And which Church is this exactly?
'thor' you're angry. I can tell. There are many problems in the Church today, but a little reflection on Her history will show you that She's actually seen worse in the past (may things not get that bad now or in the future). But 'thor', come here and listen:
THE CHURCH IS ONE! Because Christ is One.
She has had 20+ Councils in Her history so far, and probably will have more. And why do you think She's had them? Because things were always peachy? There is no "preconciliar" vs "postconciliar" competing Churches. Reflect on that fact as you calm down and clear your head for rational thought in order to respond to the threats, internal and external, to Her integrity. Grace builds on nature. Give Grace a clear mind and tranquil heart to work on.
That works.
That would be irrational and unfaithful.
New theology? Which is that?
This article concerns the occult. To the extent that any of this crap entangles people in the Church, including some who live under vows, I agree in condemnation of them with the hope of bringing them home.
'thor76' earlier seemed to blame the Church for the actions mentioned in this article. This is telling. He, and others on these forums, have a tendency to try and split the Church apart, thereby excusing themselves of obedience to Her lawful authority. This includes projecting the dangerous silliness of actions mentioned in this paper, but also other abuses rampant in many parts of the Church today such as liturgy, on Her - or at least a large slice of Her.
This then leads many times to explicit references of rejection of Her Magisterial office, which protects, guides, and explains Her depositum fidei.
This is not rational. This is not faithful.
More romantic ring to it, if nothing else;)
Oh boy, talk about the Arian heresy... Just go to a Byzantine Rite liturgy, you'll hear and see it's effects via counter measures throughout the liturgy. It was a BIG one in it's day....
none of which are intrisically evil.
All of which the church embraces.
You got it, TT--wine, women, song = sex, drugs, rock'n'roll of today.
StC makes the point that all things allowed by Law are good. He doesn't understand that rock-n-roll is NOT music.
Explication of "not music": music is an art, art requires the Aristotelian/Thomistic goodness-beauty-truth 'iron triangle' of elements; r'n'r does not meet the 'beauty' requirement thus it fails all others.
Drugs, however expensive, as prescribed by medical doctor for legitimate medical reasons as necessary.
Rock 'n Roll: Wholesome American youth music of the era before the long-haired insects got off the plane at Idlewild in New York to infest America with liberal BS set to "music."
Natural Result: Enraged liberals playing "moral" and "cultural" superiority games in which they delude themselves into thinking their perversions (sexual, pharmaceutical and "musical") to prove their "superiority" of what passed for their minds.
OK, OK, so I wasn't perfect either but I never married Yoko Ono or Andy Warhol.
Conciliar Church? And which Church is this exactly?
Before I respond to your very pointed and interesting question, I should state that we now live in the end of the present age. for those who do not wish to believe that, I refer them to scripture. For those who cannot fathom that, I refer them to the Pope - who refers to scripture. Then there are the multiple messages of Mary on the subject.
For those who still adamantly refuse to listen to or believe in the signs of the times, I commend them to Our Lord & Our Lady in charity.
We are afflicted in these last days not by one single heresy, but by modernism, which is the synthesis of all heresies. Satan has a limited intellect and imagination, as he is a created creature. So its nothing new just a rehash of old stuff in a seemingly new package.
Vatican II acted as a crack in time. It split contemporary history - for both the church and the world. There are in fact two churches - pre, and post conciliar. they are not alike in ecclesiology, theology, worship, or expression.
One can see, for example, the ready evolution of the Lutheran or Episcopal church (in their traditional forms) from the Catholic church, adn redily trace the whys and wherefores - and similarities with Catholicism.
But the Conciliar (or as som ecall it; the post-Conciliar) church is new - created, as it were out of whole cloth. It bears a resemblence to the older structure in broad brush stroke outline...only! It uses that facade - or I should say that clerics use that facade, to persuade the timid that "all is well"....."nothing has changed".
In no way am I denying that there are good NO priests out there who truly know Christ and are committed to the true faith. But all to many priests will tell you - overtly, or subliminally - that "that church does not exist anymore".
Remember: those are the words of priests......dozens of them, as expressed to me personally over the years. So this is no mere flight of fancy.
I have been told - in the classroom, in the rectory, and from the pulpit all too often by priests that "the old church does not exist anymore", to believe that this is an isolated, random private opinion.
