AN ABC MESSAGE YOU HAVE TO READ(PRO GAY MARRIAGE AGENDA ALERT)

I thought this was really worth passing on.

AN ABC MESSAGE YOU HAVE TO READ If more of us took a stand maybe we could have some decent TV programs. -- Jim Nugent is a coach in Childress, Texas.

Jim writes:

My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line) concerning a program called "THE PRACTICE." In last nights episode, one of the lawyer's mothers decided she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help her get a marriage license so she could marry her 'partner.' ! I sent the following letter to ABC yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but I did get one.

My original message was:

ABC is obsessed (or should I say abscessed) ! with the subject of>homosexuality. I will no longer watch any of your attempts to convince the world that homosexuality is OK. THE PRACTICE can be a fairly good show, but last night's program was so typical of your agenda. You picked the 'dufus' of the office to be the one who was against the idea of his mother being gay and made him look like a whiner because he had convictions. This type of mentality calls people like me a "gay basher." Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the Bible) and see what the apostle Paul had to say about it.... He, God and Jesus were all 'gay bashers'. What if she'd fallen in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative lifestyle? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that, too.) --Jim Neugent

Here is ABC's reply from the ABC on-line webmaster:

How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of years ago) and read the declaration of independence (what our nation is built on), where it says "All Men are Created equal," and try treating them that way for a change! Or better yet, try thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories as your lame crutch for your existence.

You are in minority in this country and your boycott will not affect us or our freedom of statement.

Jim Neugent's second response to ABC:

Thanks for your reply. From your harsh reply, evidently I hit a nerve. I will share it with all with whom I come in contact. Hopefully, the Arkansas Democrat Newspaper will include it in one of their columns and

I will be praying for you. - -Jim Neugent

Note: Wouldn't Satan just love it if people stopped using the Bible for a crutch? Please resend this to everyone in your mailbox. -- Thanks, Jim Neugent I wonder if the person from ABC considered how many people would read this e-mail!

This is one we should definitely pass on.

What is more amazing is how much further the homosexual agenda has progressed since 1999.

I do not participate in the "popular culture" and have not watched commercial TV shows (sit-coms, reality, drama, et al) in many, many years because of the disrespect the "popular culture" and TV shows have for America and our unique culture.

FRankly, I am disgusted by the insane addiction certain segments of our society seem to have with the culture smog, and not only do I refuse to participate, I actively work to reverse it.

Don Quixote? Perhaps. but if not now, when? If not me, who?

If I were the one who recieved this e-mail I would thank the guy who sent it, because now he can sue ABC and call them prejudice.

Although I'm sure the MSM would make sure no one heard about it.

1. How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of years ago) and read the
2. declaration of independence (what our nation is built on), where it says "All Men are Created equal," and try treating them that way for a change!
3. Or better yet, try thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories as
4. your lame crutch for your existence.
5. You are in minority in this country and your boycott will not affect us or our freedom of statement.

1. That really says it all, doesn't it? The Webmaster (to be called "he") is NOT a Christian, or even a Muslim. He detests the absolute morality/imperative of the Book. It encroaches on his memememe ethos of existence. THUS, his being on ABC is understandable.

2. He debiberately forgets that the founding fathers were Christians and wrote the document.

3. Bashing the Bible again. Shows his loathing of it.

4. Ad hominem attack....the final resort of the puerile, inept and desperate. They have nothing left but reverting to type.

5. He is correct here, for the time being. But, "minority" can mean 49.9%. Lol. He opens mouth and prepares foot for insertion, doesn't he?
This show will go the way of the other boobus toobus shows, dropped for boredom and forgotten by the MAJORITY of the human race.

Care to post said Webmaster's e-mail address?
I would love to drop him a note. :o)

Not sure who the "he" and "I" are referring to in this sentence or which email, but in any case neither the man who sent in the complaint or the moron who replied (what the hell was he thinking?) have any grounds to sue.

Even if ABC backed up the webmaster's remarks, it's certainly their right to put out anti-Christian viewing and do so officially. You can't sue someone because you don't like their programming.

The webmaster has no grounds to sue for wrongful termination. Any company would be well within their rights to fire someone who not only overstepped their authority (he was a webmaster, not a PR or programming person) but also insulted a viewer in such an over the top, nasty manner.

YOu may want to check out the Snopes link provided above. This incident happened back when Bill Clinton was President and said webmaster was terminated.
