I am disgusted but not surprised that the police have been summoned to stop people from singing a song! The police, who I thought were here to protect innocent people from criminals, are enforcing political correctness!

The police! They should have told the person that it wasn't their job to enforce one person's religious prejudices over another's!

1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America:

That these liberties are extended to the states by the doctrine of "incorporation" is settled law. Police power cannot be used to silence voluntary expressions of faith by private individuals in a public place without a compelling state interest in doing so, such as the prevention of violence.

I was going by the headline that lefty posted which tended to make you think the article was about Sasha, when in fact the article he posted was dealing with slights to this Christmas season, the Sasha story being one of the stories mentioned in his article.

The person asking them to stop singing was probably fearful of a potentially violent reaction from the thuggish element so typically found in high school choirs. That's where all the bad boys and girls hang out.
