I drew Mr. Trisham into the room to look at your home page. He was quite impressed. :)
He and Mr. T-C have a couple of things in common. Mr. T. is also a gourmet cook and plays guitar. Electric and acoustic.

I agree with you entirely. The lack of charity on this forum absolutely blows me away sometimes.
I think it’s interesting to discuss things, and there’s nothing wrong with disagreeing. I also know that sometimes, completely without intending it, one says things that appear offensive to others. But that can be easily remedied - by an explanation and an apology. That doesn’t mean you stop saying what you’re saying, but you make it clear that it’s not an attack.
I always think that people who dip in here to see what Christians think must be completely appalled. Or at least truly puzzled.

On the other hand, sometimes you just have to say, Bless your bowels, honey! Is it Monday *every* day where you live? And then walk away :-).POST OF THE YEAR NOMINEE FOR APRIL!

A good rule is to avoid the use of “you” when framing an argument. I try to avoid using Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, etc. and instead use Catholic church, Baptist church .... It is less personal that way.

Cool! Bill’s learning to cook - he made Honduran enchiladas for supper - and Anoreth plays guitar. I mostly do laundry :-).

Sadly, I think far too many are not puzzled at all. It’s the same way where they live and a huge reason they never darken a church door—any more! Sigh.

and instead use Catholic church, Baptist church That's an excellent point. I worked with a Jewish man who didn't like the use of "Jew," as a noun or adjective, so I make a point of using "Jewish person," "Jewish believer," etc.
We can also say "Baptist congregant" and similar variations.

What a pair! Bottle it and sell it—whatever “it” is. You’ll be wealthier than Bill Gates!

IIRC, it’s fairly common for every individual American to significantly influence 1,000 people in their daily lives directly and/or indirectly. And how seemingly ignorantly or care-lessly of that we live far too often.

Bill engages in a variety of high-risk sports with his brother. I try not to watch.

Oh. I was blaming Pat.
Pat tried putting a juju on the wax-billed finches at PetsMart on Sunday, but Anoreth stopped him before they did anything to attract a security guard.

But it’s sobering that even 1% of that would be a lot of folks influenced by our orneriness away from the Love of God . . . or, potentially . . . to the Love of God by our love toward ONE ANOTHER.Quite sobering indeed.
