(psssst.... I suspect he does also because he is troubled that those of us who follow the leading of the indwelling Spirit may be following Satan appearing as an "angel of light." Then again, having an intellectual debate with P-Marlowe is great fun and very challenging.)

I don't it amazes you more than does protestantism's happy go lucky dualism and denial of the one revealed truth does me.

[I don’t find Marlowe challenging or intellectually engaging at all], that said I’m very convinced that protestants are being deliberatly led astray (by the wolves just as St Paul warned). I think Muslims freely follow a Satanical religion.

Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the church is the Body of Christ. That’s what born again believers believe. It’s not a happy go lucky dualism to us. We believe it’s revealed truth as well.

Because it mocks God by equaiting falicies with the truth, and throws mud at Christ intentions of one united faith.

Whereas I agree with you that the Muslim faith is perilously misguided - I disagree with you on the other points.

The Shepherd calls His own sheep no matter where they - whether Jew or Greek, free or slave, man or woman, Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Mormon or something else. And He leads them where He wants them to go.

Follow Him.

And concerning P-Marlowe, I recognize him as a beloved brother in Christ and treasure all of his insights.

And in a debate, he has skill and knowledge much like a seasoned, successful trial attorney. It can be great fun and a challenge for some. Iron sharpens iron.

I really don’t see how your results and methods are different than what you condemn as “doctrine of men.” One is by a larger group and institution and one is by a single (wo)man.

Is this the key difference to you, that your method individualized?

Yeah, I usually find that to be true when I don’t have an intelligent answer to his questions or his questions don’t fit any of the answers I have.

far as i can tell all he does is change the subject and resort to personal attacks but that’s why i don’t post to him anymore, and don’t read posts from him...

i don’t recall seeing any sort of reasonable arguments related to the direct questions at hand... not that i keep an encyclopedic log of what posts i receive either...
