You still call it a “quite significant revenue source.” Admit it, you don’t have any idea how much income is generated by these cheap trinkets.
And how is that any different from the “Songs of Praise” CD’s hawked all over christian radio and television? How is it any different from the crosses, fish decals bumper stickers, etc. that are commonly bought by evangelicals. Is that “a significant revenue source” for your church?
Truly, I believe that your bigotry makes you a modern-day Pharisee.
I’m keenly aware that you seem determined to be amongst the RC folks who believe all manner of untrue hogwash.
Well, in the sense that you just made that all up, sure.
“Im keenly aware that you seem determined to be amongst the RC folks who believe all manner of untrue hogwash.”
Yes, when you are incapable rational discussion, hurl the insults. Typical.
Saying a novena never cost me a cent.
Knock off the personal attacks.
Aye Aye.
Amen. We need no intercessor other than Christ, all else is confusion. It causes me great discomfort to consider such a thing.
My foremost argument is that praying to saints diminishes our Lord. It is like He must be cajoled, or talked into taking actions for us- It takes away from His beneficence and benevolence, which is more than sufficient in His own right.
The point of Christ's sufferings was to reconcile us with the Father. He is the only Priest of the order of Melchizedek, He is the only legally recognized intercessor. He is omniscient, and omnipotent, the very head of all principalities and powers. Why must people busy themselves putting back the layers and hierarchies Christ gave His life to remove?
He is also our own Good Shepherd. Who will hear our bleatings when we are lost? Who would be more willing to find us, save us, heal us, and protect us? Why would He need to be convinced by any other of our needs?

Alas, those precious pricelss facts seem to have no weight . . . or perhaps no clarity through the idolatrous, blasphemous fog . . . for those who have been seduced by the Magnificent Magical Earth-Mother Mary caricature from the pit.
I find your statements above particularly apt and anointed. Thanks.
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee! I beg pardon for all those that do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
