When I was going through RCIA I had my first exposure to the "Diocesan Director for Social Justice" She was one of THOSE nuns who basically lectured all of us on the evils of wearing Nike shoes. When my sponsor and I left the class he just looked at me and said, "You're going to hear all kinds of things. You know what's important and whats garbage."
