We need to prepare ourselves to “obey God rather than men”(Acts 5:29)when the socialists force us to choose between God’s laws and man’s!

the person turns on God trying their best to destroy God because of their own failures.

Not the first time, won't be the last. God's a big guy. He can take care of Himself.

Well, the first two were shown to be frauds, not the best examples to use when promoting your ignorance.

My first thought was that gun sales are hopping and fast food hasn't lost any ground either. Michael Moore seems to be singularly ineffective at changing anything. Other than his own girth.

“Just in time for Christmas! These people are pathetic.”

I know. The other day, I heard of plans to erect signs that say, “God - Humbug!”

It takes a real miserable person to do something like that.

Obviously, these “intellectuals” weren’t in my mom’s hospital room in February, when she looked up from all of us, and said,” I SEE HIM!”

She then told us that,”I’m sorry, I have to go now, I have to say ‘Hello’ to Jesus!” She then closed her eyes and her last words were:

“I’VE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE!” and she met her Savior.

Bowling for Columbine did it to the gun culture. Super Size Me did it to fast food. Now The God Who Wasn't There does it to religion.

Guns sales are up.

Fast food businesses are thriving.

I see a spiritual revival in the near future.

They tend to attribute their sense of right and wrong to their own genetic superiority.

Remember what He said: “They hated Me, before they hated you.” Jesus had the strength. We have too have the strength and faith. There is nothing they can do too me on this earth that will change my mind about my Lord. They can beat me, enslave me, kill me, but I will not change my mind. IT IS MADE UP. I believe. That is all that matters.

You know, I can handle people who understand that there really was a guy in the 1st Century named Yeshua the Nazarene, and that He started a movement that became a worldwide religion, but who don't believe that He is the Messiah or the Son of God. To me, their arguments ultimately fall flat because they can't provide a reasonable alternative explanation as to how His followers came to the belief that He rose from the dead while the eyewitnesses were still alive, but at least they're within the realm of logic (albeit with the wrong starting premises).

But the increasing number of people who, against all secular history, are trying to claim that there never was a carpenter and rabbi from Nazareth named Yeshua who started this whole thing, that His very existence as a person was simply made up out of whole cloth, is both alarming and interesting: Alarming, because such a baseless idea shouldn't even be getting legs, but interesting, because on some level they realize that admitting even the existence of the Man undermines all arguments against Him.

As Ravi Zacharias once said (possibly quoting someone else), "It would take a Jesus to invent a Jesus."

Shalom!

History is full of references to Jesus. It is futile to argue against His life on earth. Any argument used against Him will entail excising most other persons of history.

Atheism, though, seems to be in a real snit these last few years, though. I think they realize the truth that there is no ultimate right or wrong if there is no God.

That they even think in terms of “what is right” is a testimony to them of how deeply the God-effect reaches into their culture. And they deeply resent it.

They are blobs of accidental protoplasm bouncing their way through a brief time of existence. They encounter other blobs of protoplasm. There are reactions and ricochets.

That’s the world as it should be viewed by the honest atheist.

INDEED. The fool has said in his heart there is no God.

However, they can't live that irrationally. They keep putting food in their mouths instead of irregularly the other end. They keep more or less walking upright. They keep treating their friends more or less like friends instead of having recreational axe murdering parties.

Troublesome thing--that RIGHT vs WRONG issue.

INDEED.

Alas, the GPTB [Globalist Powers That Be] will be springing the ‘ET’s are the gods’ notion on the world plenty soon enough . . . claiming that THEY created all the religious persons of history for social engineering purposes.

Believers must KNOW JESUS and hear HIS VOICE, walk according to HIS WORD AND SPIRIT REGARDLESS in coming months and years.

It's fear.

To me it is fascinating that atheists want to have a lasting impact upon the world, while at the same time they do not wish for their deeds on earth to have eternal consequences (even though they logically do, with or without Him).

IOW, they want authority without accountability.

Well... duh.

As Ravi Zacharias once said (possibly quoting someone else), "It would take a Jesus to invent a Jesus."

Good point. This is true of most of what we read in the Bible wrt historical accounts. Who would make up a history that would include, for example, the sin of David with Bathsheba and Uriah? Or Peter's denial of Christ at the time of the crucifixion?

It all testifies to the supernatural nature of history and revelation esp. as it relates to Jesus Christ.
