A family takes a faith message from Columbine.

It’s easy to see the parallel between the Columbine killers and Perez Hilton.

Once this became widely known, the media of course tried to downplay the connection. They were not about to let this courageous young girl become a heroine. Especially if it turned out that she was martyred for her faith.

****Beth Nimmo and Darrell Scott, wrote the book “Rachel’s Tears”****

I read that book. It was a good book. These parents were good parents and Rachael was a humble servant oc Christ.

The tragedy is the cops, like VA Tech and Binghampton, NY, just sat outside until the shooting stopped.

We know for a fact that the teacher died while the cops waited outside. How many others could have been saved continues to be unknown.

Heartbreaking.

Much as the upstate shooting where injured people were left inside while the police ‘waited’ outside, lives may well have been saved if there was a more timely entrance to the building.

The receptionist was bleeding to death undr her desk in NY on the phone telling the cops everything.

Rule number one in my book is start lobbing in tear gas ASAP and have the fire department ready too.

I thought it was Cassie Bernell (may have the spelling wrong) who was killed at Columbine for her faith? Were there several? Even as recently as last week during the 10th anniversary, I heard Shep Smith saying how it was all BS that anyone was killed at Columbine for their faith.

Sorry, it was Cassie Bernall. Her parents also wrote a book called “She Said Yes”.

At VA Tech the cops were stymied by a chain. Although the building codes require installation of main entry doors that cannot be locked or jammed with something as simple as a chain, the killer did exactly that.

University officials should have been prosecuted for the door situation.

I'm sure that bunch of cops were ready to go in but they couldn't get through the doors.

There were two students reported as being killed because of their faith. One student said Rachel Scott was not asked about her Christianity but another said she was.

Since it seems certain that another was asked that question, I suspect Rachel Scott was also asked.

At one time, I would have trusted the FBI just about totally. In the last twenty years I have come to the conclusion that they are about as untrustworthy as any organization can be.

I simply do not believe them.

And after how they shafted Scooter Libby, don't talk to the FBI for any reason without a tape recorder or an attorney to prove your side of the conversation.

I realize this was ten years ago, but it disturbs me that if two students were asked about their faith and then killed, I didn’t hear this from the media. You know if they were asked if they were gay and then killed, we’d still be marching. But we talked about how the two perpetrators may have been bullied, etc. No one addressed that they were just Godless hateful individuals who didn’t like anyone that wasn’t as equally Godless as they were.

I love Christ, and so it’s not out of ambivalence for His faith that I have to say that the “story” about Cassie Bernall is the result of a mistake. Cassie loved the Lord, and lived for Him, but she didn’t participate in that “she said yes” exchange. You can google her name to find out more.
