John 14
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We pray Lord for Repentance from every deed that would harm this nation and draw it away from You.
We pray for Repentance from the evil that it is pushing on Israel. May those individual's receive the blunt force of their crime's punishment for abandoning her if they do not repent - and not the nation. There are many who love her and support her right to exist and thrive. May our government return to that point of view.
We pray for the failure of the entertainment industry. It is a god that draws us from You and preaches propaganda to our susceptible youth. Break the banks of those who produce evil. And bless those who produce good.
We pray for our education system. Chief brainwashers of the youth, they teach political ideology and manipulation rather than the very skills needed to be a success in the busines world. May the teacher's unions be changed radically for the better.
We pray for the churches, Lord. Lukewarm or dead most of them. May they hear Your message and repent of straying from Your path.
Help us Lord to be witnesses for You for the good. Help us to please You. Help us not to sin and forgive us where we have sinned. And Lord, we ask for Your soon return, because this world is becoming less and less "home". We long to see Your face, Lord. We long to be rid of Satan's demonic forces. May those forces of evil which plague Your people be silenced and may Your truth prevail and thrive in America again.
In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.

By his fruits, he is a lost man. We should pray for his salvation and repentance from evil - which is what this thread does with regularity.

Remember that Paul gave the command to pray for our leaders during the Roman Empire, with such creatures as Caligula and Nero on the throne. God knows what He is doing. Pray for His will to be done and for hearts to turn toward Him. That would include our president. I don’t think this is an optional command.

We thank You for Your many blessings poured out upon this nation. Forgive us for taking them for granted. Please don't give up on us Lord. We know our country has lost its way. We have sinned in so many ways. We ask You to forgive us.
And God spoke all these words, saying: ‘I am the LORD your God… ‘
ONE: ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.’
We have put so many things and people before You. We have turned our back on You, the One and only true God for things that will pass away; things we thought were important, but won't matter in the end. We have put people above You. People who will fail, as we all do. We follow sports, TV, movie, music ....figures who many times we should not even allow in our lives because of there open sins against You and Your laws. We even have idols. American idols. We also have not spread the good news as we should have and now many in our nation and the world are involved in false teachings and worship. Please forgive us and open all of our eyes to the foolishness of allowing anything or anyone to come before You.
TWO: ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.’
Father, again, we have worshiped “things” over You. We fill our homes with things we really don't need. In too many homes we sit and worship in front of the television for hours every day. We have allowed sin to grow through the television over the years. We have let our children believe what is done on TV is normal and OK and we wonder why we have so many problems with them. Please, God, break the bond that holds us to the TV or anything that harms us spiritually or steals time from you; unhealthy books, music..... Forgive us, have mercy.
THREE: ‘You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.’
In our world today we commonly hear Your name misused, abused, slandered and lied about. Your name should only be praised and honored for the Holy and Good God You are. Help us to stand up for You. Forgive us for our complacency.
FOUR: ‘Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.’
It use to be stores were closed on Sundays to honor You. Today, we are so busy filling our lives with what we think is our needs, that stores find it profitable to stay open 7 days. Your day should be more than a day to gather to worship You and thank You and get to know You better. It should be a day families rejoice in all You have done for us. There should not be any “thing” that means more than the gift You gave of Your Son and His sacrifice to pay for our sins. Forgive us for allowing Your Holy day to become just another day or a day off.
FIVE: ‘Honor your father and your mother.’
Heavenly Father, We have rebelled as children and do not respect and care for our parents as we should. We have taught our children to disrespect authority by not punishing them as we should. We have allowed children to have there way too many times. It's sometimes easier to say yes than to take the time to teach. We have not taught them Your laws, but have allowed others to define right and wrong; television, movies, school,.... today, many do not believe in good and evil. Please forgive us. Help us to take the time to teach our children and any person who will listen, about You.
SIX: ‘You shall not murder.’
Murder is the taking of innocent life and God we are guilty of this sin in a breathtaking way. We have the blood of almost 50 million innocent babies on our hands. There is no excuse or nothing we can say but Forgive us this great sin.
We sometimes feel weary in the fight. Father, give us strength, wisdom and insight on how to stop this horror.
SEVEN: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
Father, too many families are following apart today. We have lost our way. We see adultery as common on TV and movies and begin to think its normal. Forgive us for taking the holy union of marriage that You gave us and corrupting it. Please, don't let it be corrupted in any other ways. Show us the way to stop that. Go before us and give us wisdom and understanding as to how to fight this battle.
EIGHT: ‘You shall not steal.’
Father, forgive us for anytime we have taken anything that is not ours. Help us to make it right today.
NINE: ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.’
God, help us to be honest in all we say and do. When at work let us be examples of Christ in all our dealings. Keep us from gossip and lies. Forgive us for the times we have harmed others with our words.
TEN: ‘You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.’
Heavenly Father, forgive us for not appreciating all that You have blessed us with. Help us to yearn for You and not things that will one day perish. Merciful Father, We know we have failed in so many ways. Please have compassion and forgive us, again. Open the eyes of ALL Your people, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, change our hearts, renew our minds, fill us with Your Holy Spirit to overflowing. Help us to do as You commanded; Fulfill the great commission. Help us to see every person as a soul who will one day stand before You and be judged; A soul who we have a chance to tell the good news to. There are so many hurting people who need You. Give us the courage and Your words to share the hope we have found in You. Thank You for hearing our prayers, In Your Son Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
I acknowledge You as my source in all things. Deliver us from the pestilence. Renew Your mercy for us, and bring about the change in the very soul of this nation to return our hearts to You. Give us the leaders who would recognize and follow You in all matters of governance. Bring those into power who would seek You out in bringing about a change in us that is pleasing to You. We thank You, Lord. In the midst of our circumstances, we again thank You, for Your love endures forever. In Christ's name I pray, amen.

Father, we are weak, foolish and prideful, and we have elected a weak, proud fool to lead us. You are humble and eager to help us: please put forth your strength. Save our nation from its colossal errors: help us to return to you.
