AHEM? He never identified them? Yeah, he did. Who would the Son be with a capital letter? And anyway, he did say, I’m not sure where, that Heavenly Father and his Son came to him. I don’t see any reason to doubt this- and Joseph Smith knew things he shouldn’t know. He predicted when and where the Civil War would start. And he knew the Jews were forced out of Jerusalem before that was discovered! He was even right about the time it happened!
And you know how rude it is to diss the Lord by asking if he played some Jazz? He says that JESUS told him that the absolute full gospel was missing!

Even in our Christian churchs THOUSANDS of very zealous youngsters for the Lord have no idea where to find Scripture to make their case.
That's why so many of them lose their way as they get out of school.
That's why the Berean's were so noble: they wanted to be SURE that what they heard was true, so they 'looked to the Scriptures' to see if what Paul told them was true.

OK, that I didn’t hear about.
Emma made a big mistake there. But the Lord commanded her to be true and faithful. Beating someone up with a broom doesn’t really fall into that range.
And as for Joesph, he made a big mistake in not following his own rules there. But as I said, our church denounces polygamy and no one EVER, EVER, married a young child. EVER. And our Church has long since denounced polygamy. It is wrong. Maybe back then it was needed because our Church needed more children because every day more members were being KILLED and raped in the case of women, by mobs. Joseph himself was murdered in Liberty Jail by the mob.
By the way, you seem to have ignored what I said about Joseph knowing things he shouldn’t... I thought that was liberal strategy?
Look, I’ll leave your religion alone if you leave mine alone. Our church has a dark past. But we have a clean slate now and if my Church ever does something like polygamy again, I will be the first to tell you you were right and leave it. Are we OK here?
