Many may remember that my son's daughter and only child at that time -- was a victim of Acute Myleogenous Leukemia (adult form), diagnosed when she was nine years old.
I have been a strong proponent of bone marrow transplants, because Jennifer is living proof of the success of that procedure.
This started just over 11 years ago and the transplant did not take place for about three years -- Jennifer had about a 50/50 chance of survival -- which rose and fell over that time.
Jennifer is now engaged, an incredibly beautiful young lady and she is pregnant.
This has been confirmed by doctors and was something that the doctors told her would be impossible.
Please pray that Jennifer is able to remain pregnant and have her baby who, at five weeks, she already loves with all of her heart.
Except to thank you all in advance, I will not answer unless some health professional has some input, as the progress is just going to be what it will be. If the worst would happen I will recover this thread and give an update, just as I will when this first great-granchild is born.

O Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ our God, the Source of life and immortality, the Lover of Mankind, bless Jennifer and the fruit of her body that was given by Thee; favor them and animate this child by Thy Holy Spirit, and let it grow a healthy and pure body, with well-formed limbs.
Sanctify this child’s body, mind, heart, and vitals, and grant this infant that is to be born an intelligent soul; establish it in the fear of Thee.
A faithful angel, a guardian of soul and body, do thou vouchsafe this child. Protect, keep, strengthen, and shelter the child until the hour of birth.
O Lord Jesus Christ, place this infant upon the right hand of Thy grace, and through Thy Holy Spirit sanctify and renew this child unto life everlasting, that it may be a communicant of Thy Heavenly Kingdom. Amen.
O All-Merciful Christ our God, look down and protect Thy handmaiden Jennifer from fear and from evil spirits that seek to destroy the work of Thy hands. And when her hour and time is come, deliver her by Thy grace.
Look with compassionate eye and deliver Thy handmaiden, from pain. Lighten her infirmity in the time of travail and grant her fortitude and strength for birth giving, and hasten it by Thine almighty help.
For this is Thy glorious work, the power of Thine omnipotence, the work of Thy grace and tender-heartedness. Amen.

We certainly will pray for both Jennifer, her baby and for the medical team that they will be guided to help her carry this child to a safe time for delivery.
I think it would help her to let her know that so many are praying for her. We’ve done some good work through these prayers........ Logan is living, loving, breathing proof of the power of prayer and friends who cared and stood by him.
