Sure, a pro-choice Catholic that says she does it to serve the citizens. Hmmm...

"I took an oath of office" Ironic isn't it that an oath she swore to God to uphold, to her, supersedes Gods law....
To: NYer
As she orders millions of people into gas chambers she will say that her actions as a government official are separate from her private civilian life.
right.
Leftists do NOT believe that, by the way. EVERYTHING is political to a leftist. literally everything.

I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state, and I feel that my actions as a parishioner are different than my actions as a public official Somehow I don't think that kind of answer is going to fly when you come face to face with your Creator.

In other words, "just following orders". Don't they call that the "Nuremberg defense"?
She feels pain because she can't take part in communion, but I didn't hear her say that the thought of abortion causes her pain.
You can't honestly seperate your core values from your actions, at least I don't see how.

IMHO, any one that claims to be a Christian and is pro-choice/for abortion is not a Christian.

Why would it be “personal” if if the issue whether or not she takes her Church teaching seriously?
Where is the St (Sir) Thomas More in her? “The King’s good servant, but God’s first.”

Hey Kathy....it’s going to be even more painful in eternity if you don’t change.

Sebelius thinks being denied communion is painful? The pain will be worse than she can imagine if she dies unrepentant and unsaved.

But what's in your heart lady??? How can you have Jesus in your heart and condone killing babies at the same time???
One would think that Catholics would eventually admit that being Catholic does NOT automatically mean you are a member of the Body of Jesus Christ...

Well, it was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced in my life, and I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state, and I feel that my actions as a parishioner are different than my actions as a public official and that the people who elected me in Kansas had a right to expect me to uphold their rights and their beliefs even if they did not have the same religious beliefs that I had. And that's what I did: I took an oath of office and I have taken an oath of office in this job and will uphold the law. Apparently the Church thinks differently.
I think they were fond of saying things like this in Hitler's Germany.

You always have the choice of repenting, Kathleen. That only hurts for a minute, and then you feel so much better!

If she thinks the sit down with the bishop was painful, imagine the anguish of a Particular Judgement. I wouldn’t want to be trying to justify the blood of unborn innocents upon my death.
