MY WORDS SPEAK TRUTH
The Joshua Chronicles , Bible | Jedediah

Posted on 10/15/2009 5:56:33 PM PDT by Jedediah

Oracles of my servants are true and report what I am doing today for as my word forget the former things behold I do a new thing and I shall speak it through whom I choose without man's approval or their vain imaginations rooted in pride and knowledge of the flesh and not the kingdom for they know not of my ways as long as they seek to admire their flesh .

So "my" chosen and few shall speak of new things and things to come and the shallow minded shall not conceive the things of the Spirit of The Lord that they reject in prideful wanderings for truly they are only a desert unto themselves and those blind that follow these empty sounding gongs absent of The Father's love .

So come ! To the Spring of Living Waters for I shall quench your thirst through The Spirit of The Lord for I AM THE WORD and only My Spirit can reveal this to you by The Father's will .

Will you come ? Or wrestle with me for day is breaking and your Morningstar calls to those in " humble abide " .

Abide with me and fast the earth !

1 Corinthians 1:20-22 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;

1 Corinthians 2:13-15 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy[a] Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

Isaiah 43:18-21 18 “ Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

However, that’s likely to change . . . sooner for some . . . and much sooner for one . . . some very educational experiences are set to flood across the Body of Christ and particularly those who are more pretense than substance.

Indeed. I'm often inclined to think the very same thing! Though my mere suspicions in this regard would hardly make me "prophetic." Neither would yours. Neither would Jedediah's. Besides, much of what you folks use to determine your timeframe for "soon to occur" events is way off the mark, at least from the standpoint of the entire history of Christianity before the mid-1800s I'd rather let God determine His own timetables. My own death will be followed immediately by my own personal Last Judgment. The General Judgment is but a reprise of all the individual ones. I am in no hurry to hasten it. If I live to see the Second Coming (and, I'll be honest, I often wonder just how much time we have left), great! If not, well, I'll still see the whole thing unfold anyway, and very possibly with a far better view and understanding of The Big Picture.

Meanwhile, I'd rather pray for God's forbearance, that the world might have more time to earnestly and sincerely repent and follow Him. The eagerness of some people to hasten the End Times in order to escape them via the Rapture (or, rather, what they misapprehend concerning the Rapture) is a function of a repellent and severely self-absorbed attitude.

***“Why are you posting as if you were Jesus?”

A good point.
The postings appear to be mixing the author’s (Jedediah) identity with Christ.
An extraordinary dangerous thing to be doing.

Any references to the words of Jesus, should include scripture references in my opinion.***

A very good practice, unless the poster believes that either he is Jesus or that Jesus is speaking through him and therefore quotations and references are not required. A very dangerous thing; the great deceiver can and will quote Scripture for his own purposes, but even better if he can make statements that Christians will mistake for Scripture that serve his purposes and not God’s.

Why ask me? Take it up with “Jesus,” you seem to have his ear...or...something.

***Jesus of course

But YOU wrote it, not Jesus.***

I get the impression that he considers he and Jesus one and the same.

Explain, please, exactly how my user name is "new age." Perhaps "Jesus" can illuminate your thesis for all of us. Please be specific, and feel free to explain at length. I'm all ears!

ABSOLUTELY NO

hastening of the END TIMES INVOLVED AT ALL.

Nonsense! The only reason so many people inclined toward the Rapture do things such as send money for the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Temple is precisely the fact that such a project is, for them, a "sure sign" of the End Times and the impending Rapture (as they understand it). Never mind that this is just self-absorption at play, it is also Christ-denying, insofar as the goings-on at the Temple will purport to remedy the effects of sin in the same way the OT Temple did, yet Christ's sacrifice on the Cross has done away with the efficacy of such actions, in favor of something infinitely better.

That's just for starters. From actively supporting things like the above in hopes of advancing the date of the Rapture, to ignoring civic and moral duties in the here-and-now because, well, "why bother, when we're out of here soon anyway?", the world in general, and the US in particular, can be considered far worse off. If even half of the Rapture-inclined who didn't bother to vote in 2008 had, in fact, voted along reasonably predictable lines, His Fraudulency would never have taken office. This sort of wild-eyed misapprehension of basic theology has become the undoing of the Republican Party, far more than the RINOs could have ever dreamed possible.

So, please, spare me the nonsense about not intending to hasten the End Times. You guys are hell-bent on it, if you'll pardon the expression.

What in the Sam Hill is that supposed to mean? And are you now saying that the Sadducees can be defined as New Age, too? I’ll ask you again: get “Jesus” to help you explain how “magisterium” equates to a new age concept. I’m sure he’ll be most comprehensive in his explanation. Can’t wait to hear this...

WOW.

UNMITIGATED NONSENSE IN EVERY LINE! Amazing.

That post is so far out of touch with any reality I’ve observed in the last 62 years, I think I’ll just let it lie there in all it’s brazen falsehood.

I will note that

observing and commentary

has absolutely nothing to do with hastening. God’s timing is God’s timing regardless of what man does.

Besides, for most of us, things are racing along quite fast enough and hard enough to keep up with, thank you very much!

The degrees of ignorance on this thread on the part of the rock throwers is astounding.

There is confusion about prophets and their gifts by the Holy Spirit.

The pharisees and Saducees questioned Christ's authority because of his claims, and rightly so, but the earthly value of their own self serving ambitions made them deaf to listening to his message.

I see what this man says is coming into reality right now.
I do not see him contradicting the nature of Christ.

I hear the nature of Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
He is not claiming to be Christ, he claims to speak with the authority of Christ.

I see exposure of man's evil religiousness in the responses and the fullfilling of some of his prophesy right on this thread.

A true Prophet will not predict that which does not happen.

Nothing a false prophet says will come to pass and it should not provoke fear among true children of God.

If he is a false prophet he will die a false phrophets death.

I remain open to what he says, but I will not worship him, nor do I believe he desires worship.

My question to Jedediah is about what motivates him? Are you under a compulsion that is impossible for you to disobey?

Jedediah has likely turned in for the night.

I think you have stated things extremely well and accurately.

Jedediah does seem to operate under an overriding compelling press of Holy Spirit in his spirit, heart, mind.

He would likely agree that the spirit is still subject to the prophet as Scripture asserts. However, his compelling urgings are rather intense and he responds accordingly as do most prophetic types, I know.

Zeal is a pretty intense and commonly intense issue with most of them.

imho, in not a few of them, zeal can override their wisdom.

Jedediah is young enough that his Zeal is quite strong and his years of experience walking in such an anointing are not so extensive. Yet, I think he hears amazingly accurately and is amazingly obedient to what he’s convinced he’s heard.

And, when I’ve found him or his attitude amiss in some way, I’ve spoken up and after some exchanges, he adjusted his attitude in a Biblical Christ-like way. That was impressive to me.

Far too many prophetic types are too impressed with their own press clippings and hotline to God to put up with much discipline and correction. I don’t respect those nor give them much attention or hearing even though they may have started out with an authentic gifting and calling.

Certainly when he is speaking on the phone under the anointing, the vigor and intensity tumble out quite forcefully as they do through me on occasion. So it’s all quite congruent with my own experience and easy to respect as I feel a confirmation in my spirit.

I can certainly identify with the effects of over zealousness in my own walk.

There is a perfect balance that the Lord intends for each of us according to his plan.

Including the Catholics who like to play bombardment!
